i think you’d benefit from blocking out the SNs on your buddy list.

I always forget about it until it’s too late.

Well, I’ve finally gotten around to doing some form of customization, and I’m already feeling more at home. Still undecided on what exactly I’m going to keep and what not to…getting used to a lot of stuff. ALso, I didnt’ have to block out my buddy list.

wait, what the fuck? linux or windows? omgz… i’m so confused.

Auto hide taskbar + a nice quick launch so no icons on desktop.

Nice and simple

andLinux, in my almost two full days of testing, is pretty badass. It’s basically a modificed Ubuntu that runs on top of Windows. Still wrapping my head around some stuff, like adding fonts and where the hell my programs go when I grab them with synaptic, etc.

holy shit, that’s amazing  i like it.

So basically, from what it sounds like, it renders the need for Wine moot? Interesting…

So does it run off some kind of X11 Window Manager, or use Windows for graphics?

It’s kind of reverse wine (line?) if you wanna look at it that way. it does use x11, but it only has one desktop (the standard windows one). Thus the same borders and stuff for my windows and linux windows in the picture. There’s also Topologilinux out there if you want to run Linux in its own window with a separate desktop, like you would with vmware or something. I like the convergent interface, though.
