Heh, I consider yours to be messy. I hate icons, I keep as few as possible on my desktop. Here’s mine:

In fact, I wish there was a way to make icons appear only on mouse-over, that way my desktop would always be icon-free until I moved my mouse up there. That’d be sweet. I could always hide icons, but then I’d have to show them every time I wanted to click them.

There are bunch of programs that let you hack to your own likings. I know a lot of people use Samurize.

Speaking of Desktops, do you guys know where I might download more desktops like win xp’s “ripple”, “vortecspace”, and “crystal”? Those look tight as hell. Oh, and does anybody know where I can get some sweet screen savers? Everything I have is just what win 95-me had, minus a few. You’d think Xp would come with new screensavers…

Hrm. Is there anyway I could install themes for free? Cuz it seems like I have to buy a third party program. Did you have to purchase anything to make what your desktop look like what it does now?
