Need to pimp that wallpaper though! If I could get a dual monitor, I’d prolly have that Street Fighter banner [with all the Alpha cast], if they had a nice reso of it. I think that’d look pretty cool.

That is certainly the best part of Linux. Some things, like the “peace of mind” concerning spywares and viruses, only come once you’ve grown accustomed to Linux. There ARE a few out there, and the first time you learn your way around Linux is the prime time to accidentally stumble upon one.
The ease and convenience of finding/installing/updating apps is really Ubuntu’s strong point. I wish Windows had it.
This just means that stuff breaks twice a year. I’m much more partial to a rolling updates scheme like PCLinuxOS or Arch Linux.
You need hi-res icons for your dock!
