Post pictures of your SF/entertainment setup!

lol well ill take a pic tomorrow when theres daylight but the dresser is there just for the TV pretty much. i keep all my clothes in the closet. im too lazy to buy a set up from ikea.

the fightsticks i just ordered green sanwas and a green mesh ball top and when i can match the button color ill paint the red border on the round 2 to match.

You can freak him out by mentioning his 3s poster when you’re playing him  It worked for me

bryan1975, I would move your center channel all the way to the front of the stand. You’re most likely getting some nasty reflections off the glass due to the position of the center channel.

Props on the Panny and the HK. I have a Panny 50" G10 and I was going to go with the HK 254 as well but I scored a sweet deal on a new Marantz. What kind of speakers are you using?

I’ve been trying to find that poster for ages… I like the simplistic setup. Can’t wait to get my new townhouse and have a dedicated gameroom / Office… One bedroom apartments sucks ass…

you would think so 4 bedrooms and a Den and not one of them is my game room.

Nothing wrong with American parts or button layout :lovin: Here is my fight stick for my 360

…Polk R50s… nothing spectacular but great for movies. I have a HSU VTF 1 in the rear to complete my 7.1 set up. (rear surrounds and sides are also Polks)

Some more American love :lovin: Here is my partially completed showcase style arcade cabinet which is going to look like this:

I made a 4 player control panel with MK button layouts for P1 and P4 and SFII for P2 and P3. I didn’t want any excuses when I am owning my friends on both games. The extra stick above P2 and P3 is a dedicated 4 way stick to play games like Pacman, Trackball for Golden Tee and spinner for Arkanoid.

When I finish my showcase project my next cabinet I would like to copy is the Viewlix cabinet using japanese arcade parts and button layouts.

I’ll try that and check for improvements. Thanks.

i love the bartop arcade… i was thinking if i ever made my own arcade it would have to be something like that.

what front-end software are you using?

fuck yeah AMERICA!

I switched to jap sticks years ago but I can still play on american lol…

nice setups everyone.

The front end I am using is Maximus Arcade which I paid for and believe me worth every dollar. I also have the marquee and artwork change dynamically as well as video preview for most of the MAME games. I played with other front ends like Mala and Hyperspin and liked Maximus Arcade the best cause of the ease of setup and clean looking interface. If I had to picked a second choice it would definately be Hyperspin.

Very nice indeed! I’d build one of these if the weather was better.

That’s one nice looking job! Congratulations with that one and much respect for the finish and design. Are you going to have a dedicated games room?

uhmurrhica…fuck yeah…

LOL nice one geo. kinda spooked me there when you sent me that message out of nowhere haha!

It’s winter here up in Canada right now but thank god for ceramic heaters :wgrin:

Yes I do have a dedicated games room if you can’t see in the background already. I’ve been using my poor pool table as a work bench the last 6 months.

I got my Fabi foosball behind my early pictures of my bartop next to my partially completed showcase cabinet here. It is working 100%, the other half the houses the TV has to be completed later on otherwise I have moved this podium around to a few friend’s house for get togethers and parties hooked up via HDMI to their LCDs and Plasmas.

Love the bar top cabinet!

Thanks, going to change the marquee to this since it will go with the rest of my SF theme on the bartop. Right now it looks like this:

I was excited and had an extra MAME marquee lying around but going to replace it with this:

What do you guys think? Sorry in advance about the size.

That’s a sick picture, but I think it’s really big for the website, it was like taking forever to load, anyway…if you use that marquee post up more pics ^^.
