bryan1975, I would move your center channel all the way to the front of the stand. You’re most likely getting some nasty reflections off the glass due to the position of the center channel.
Props on the Panny and the HK. I have a Panny 50" G10 and I was going to go with the HK 254 as well but I scored a sweet deal on a new Marantz. What kind of speakers are you using?
I’ve been trying to find that poster for ages… I like the simplistic setup. Can’t wait to get my new townhouse and have a dedicated gameroom / Office… One bedroom apartments sucks ass…
…Polk R50s… nothing spectacular but great for movies. I have a HSU VTF 1 in the rear to complete my 7.1 set up. (rear surrounds and sides are also Polks)
I made a 4 player control panel with MK button layouts for P1 and P4 and SFII for P2 and P3. I didn’t want any excuses when I am owning my friends on both games. The extra stick above P2 and P3 is a dedicated 4 way stick to play games like Pacman, Trackball for Golden Tee and spinner for Arkanoid.
The front end I am using is Maximus Arcade which I paid for and believe me worth every dollar. I also have the marquee and artwork change dynamically as well as video preview for most of the MAME games. I played with other front ends like Mala and Hyperspin and liked Maximus Arcade the best cause of the ease of setup and clean looking interface. If I had to picked a second choice it would definately be Hyperspin.
I got my Fabi foosball behind my early pictures of my bartop next to my partially completed showcase cabinet here. It is working 100%, the other half the houses the TV has to be completed later on otherwise I have moved this podium around to a few friend’s house for get togethers and parties hooked up via HDMI to their LCDs and Plasmas.
That’s a sick picture, but I think it’s really big for the website, it was like taking forever to load, anyway…if you use that marquee post up more pics ^^.
