Nice TV and all, but with the game on display being a HD remix, I doubt non-HD look that crisp? Like Playstation2 games and stuff. Would like to see a picture if possible.

I would be saving time, but not money. The “offical” stand for my TV is like 300 bucks, I would be paying a fraction of that getting materials from home depot/lowes.
If you know what your doing it saves you money and you come out with a much better product. Plus copping a real one would be getting a real tv stand not some cheap particle board/cheap aluminum stand for a couple hundred dollars.
my aluminum + glass is sturdy and holds my 56" dlp just fine and is far from a bad stand…
i dunno…the prospect of one fuck up in quality, messing up a big ass tv isnt a chance worth taking for me…some of you need to do a bit more internet shopping around, no way you should be paying 200+ for any size tv stand.

Me and my wife are cleaning up our garage and once it’s nice I’ll take some better pics (that one was just taken on my iPhone). I plan on replacing the sticks and buttons so the colors are a bit more consistent. I need to replace the suicide battery on the board as well.
But everything works and I’m playing every day…
