Possible SSF4:AE Match Up Changes For & Against Lord Bison

I’m having a deja vu of the “SSF4 Dictator Changes” thread. All the same shit that was brought up then is being brought up again now.

chill the fuck down people. The change sucks yes, but christ chill the fuck down.

It wasn’t hell, sure there was problems, but it wasn’t hell.

If chun li got her throw back fit, then Bison should be rocking his cape.

I was thinking that the EX version could be like Zangief’s headbutt, and do a bunch of stun.

If they are going to increase recovery and give a charge motion to U2, they should up the damage a little. This is because we are going to be forced to use it mostly in wake-up shenanigans a la Blanka.

The psychological factor Ultra II adds is what changes the way people play and play against bison.

It would be a huge loss if they turn it into a charge motion. Mark my words.

I’ve been telling you folks capcom is retarded, but does anyone listen to me? nooooooo.

Who are you?

I agree with you 100% tony I just think and have started to figure out that SSF4 favors turtle based characters and is the most defensive SF game ever (maybe it’s just me) for two reasons the map size enormous and the ultra system if you start beating someones ass you have to play cautiously or you might just get random ultra’d lol … I love being aggressive though (sigh) I guess we’ll see what ends up happening when they release it. I recently started playing 3rd strike I never played it competitively but I enjoy the offense in it. As for SSF4 I put way too much time in the game to just drop it like it’s hot.

Coming from the guy that buys their games. NOW who’s the retard?

Capcom is. I’ve never bought any of thier games, both copies of SSF4 were given to me for free. Nice try though.

But you’re still playing the game though. That’s the entire point. Don’t like it? Quit fucking bitching and whining and stop playing.

But hey, common sense = Rocket science, I guess.

Wow, this thread has been invaded by a rising number of trolls lately.

Anyway, Tony has a really good point about switching characters.

you know what would be funny? if capcom changed ultra 1 to a motion input and ultra 2 to a charge input. :wonder:

and nothing of value would be gained, U1’s uselessness does not stem from its input. A change like that would just be flatout pointless.

yeah i agree with you on U1’s limited uses but with all the huge, almost unnecessary overhaul to the game, i wouldn’t be surprised if more questionable changes ever came about. i just hope that good ol’ Dic doesn’t end up getting raped like how a certain fighting game company raped a certain lolita vampire.

why the hell are they changing the u2 to a charge motion.

It’s a lot faster though, could we see TP->U1 being viable or FADC into U1 being viable? Oh you know, we could do Ex-SkullDiver into U1! Right? Perhaps j. rh or j. fp into U1?

I would switch to gief if anything ex gh not knocking down is too good I could just imagine Van and Jan with that but here I thought everyone would get something useful like the ability to tech air throws.Either way I am focusing on the older games much more like cvs 2 sfz2 and vampire savior.
From a business standpoint they had to switch stuff up in order to help arcade operators. Also I could care less about yun and yang but if you add balance changes everyone has to buy the dlc when it comes out 6 months after the arcade version comes out which is what I was told.I think most of the backlash comes from the fact that it’s too early for these changes.

After switching mains permanently for about 2 months to Dictator, with the new changes…

I’m still going to stick with Dictator.

Although, like everyone here, I LOATHE LOATHE LOATHE the change in motion to Psycho Punisher.

I would rather it take off 1/3 less damage, and be like -10 on block, than changing of the motion.

Ultimately, I like Bison as a character. Merciless and unrelenting – and and outfit fit to put the world under his regiment.
When I first began playing him I too mistook him for a complete rush-down character with an ever expanding toolkit to keep opponents guessing. While some of my initial thoughts are in fact applicable, his more poking play style is still fun, and I’m going to stick to it regardless if he’s buffed or nerfed.
