I wonder why they are going for the most off the wall batshit crazy changes for a loketest? Seriously only a few of the changes make any sense at all. A good chunk of them straight up ruin characters and would render them near worthless.
Would it not be better to make changes that actually made a bit of sense and tweak from there?
I’d be fine with charge U2 if they make it faster. 22 frame PP is alright when motion based, but if it’s going to require a charge, they better damn give it near half the frames. A faster PP is going to open up some new, more worthwhile trip guard set ups and that’s going to be a nice trade off.
Anyway, it’s a shame they probably won’t do anything to NMB. It still has its uses in certain match ups and giving it a bit more invincibility or a better vacuum effect would do wonders to it.
^this, but even if they did keep these changes, i’d still play bison. I guess im stuck with him…my chun’s too predictable, my juri’s too aggressive, and im not experienced enough with my other characters to pick them up. Looks like i either play bison or i don’t play at all
The fuck? Why would you drop your character just because his U2 input motion got changed? That’s a pretty shitty reason to drop a character, especially Bison.
yeah I play him since turbo II, and love him since EX, turbo 2 kind of OK but there was too much gimmicks on Arcade and kids in Asia is no joke, even a 10 years old know Ryu gimmick
Yeah if you drop Bison because of this then good riddance… those of us who HAVE been using Bison for the past year and half in SF4 know what to expect and are prepared to revert back to the SF4 Bison play-style.

I used Bison in Vanilla. But changing U2 to charge is a huge change. I don’t mind it having a little more recovery on block or whiff (Tbh any time Ive ever missed a U2 I have always been easily punished by my opponent.) but the big reason Bison is a threat right now is because of U2. This is going to make it an absurd amount harder to punish run away opponents. I dont know how interested I am in this game with these changes. I might just start playing Kof and marvel. haha

Its completely illogical to nerf a character who isn’t even close to being overpowever. I’ve been using bison since vanilla; and if you don’t know what kind of hell we went through then you just don’t have a clue

Anyway, nah it’s not a reason to drop him altogether. However I think it’s safe to say the change is silly really. Just seems unnceessary but think of it this way. We still have a much better EX PC and EX Scissors to go through fireballs. Because of the suggested nerfs to Ryu and Akumas air hurricane kicks we can build this meter much easier with DR as we won’t get hit out it by Air Tatsus.
