same here i’ll be around 6 too 6.5 play at little of everything today. Next time Either we go too seattle or oposite there needs to be a 5 of 5 for mvc2 cvs2 3S maybe by the end of the year!

Just a note to anyone who’s been playing T5 at the TILT in portland, The Avalon Theater just got their copy of T5 in themselves, and they are a nickel arcade where games cost less than a dollar! (what a concept)
I don’t know what we’re charging for the game as I haven’t been in there for the past couple of days, but we HAVE the cards, and the game itself can’t cost more than 35 cents a play. I was pushing for 25 cents, so we’ll just have to wait and see.

Anyway, the avalon is on 35th and SE belmont, so if you’re in the area, or just hankering to play it, come on down.

I work there, by the way, and if T5 does well, I can start pushing more fighting games on the district managers, like Guilty Gear and CvS2, so if you want a cheaper arcade than TILT, it would behoove you to help make Tekken 5 successful.

35 cents? What happened to the 5-10 cent stuff they used to run? Defeats the purpose if you’re already paying 2 dollar or whatever it is admission then games nearly as much as they would anywhere else.

yeah, but after 4 games, you’ve saved money, and if you buy the round trip admission, then you can get in for free next time you go. If you are seriously going to practice T5 then it’s gonna be cheaper to go to the avalon than the tilt.

what kind of machine is at the avalon, is it the same as the tilt? how much are the cards?

yes if you can push some fighting games there, i can get some people to attend for sure on a regular basis. but yes do you really have t5 there now??? if so, im there.
