@Josh: I don’t have any quick disconnects, I may pick some up or I may just try to wrap around the prongs on the buttons for a temporary solution. I don’t think I will be able to finish the mod before you guys get here (I haven’t even started to work on it yet lol), but perhaps we can work on it some more tonight.
@Calvin: yeah, don’t give up on Vega just like that! He’s a good character, and you have a good grasp of what he has in the way of combos and such. I think you just need to rethink how you fight with Vega, and learn to poke more often. Look at Dusty’s Vega against me yesterday for example: he basically zoned me out with crouching fierce (I think that was the attack) and Vega’s standing normal kicks all match. I couldn’t get in easily. But lets talk shop tonight in the flesh and see if we can collectively work on upping your Vega game!

Gotta rep what we’re playing. I’m appreciating the other fighters we have been getting into. It has helped me to understand concepts better and improve my game in areas that are universal to all fighters.
No kidding. When I played CvS2, I noticed that when I tried doing links that I do all the time in SSF4, not only would they work, but they had almost the same exact timing.

Yeah haha it was really nice to put some time into those games, that chair was killing my back though. it was nice to get back to the recliner for SSF4 towards the end!

I have been taking a bit of break from SSF4 and videogames in general these past couple of weeks, trying to work on some other projects and interests, but with Tom’s tournament fast approaching, I want to dive back into playing hard-style lol! So, anyone in the Southern Maine area looking to jump into the local scene, this gamenight is open to you! I will most likely be working Sunday night, so we will have to get things going around 9pm, but I will post what time y’all should roll over when I know for sure.
