POKKEN Official Pokemon Fighter Made By Bandai Namco

Yeah, I like her a lot in Duel Phase because her zoning tools make a lot more sense and she feels more like a traditional zoner.

I’d been running her with Fennekin corridor, as that is in my mind the definitive get off me assist.

Indeed, that assist is really good for interrupting pressure because it’s an aoe. You should try out Electrode’s if you like Fennekin; his damage and knockback is crazy as fuck. Having the “Support” Cheer Type helps a lot too because you’ll have him ready to go at the begging of every round, save the very first one.

And I’m not judging SRK by this thread alone. Not at all.

Did you even looked at the forum outside of the Gardevoir sub-forum? The forum has a lot more than that anthro argument.

I just use Magical Leaf and the triple-disk attack, and sometime Calm mind counter.

There some attacks of his in field phrase I like such as the his strong range attack and the boulder throw.

Can someone point me to a decent video explaining how attacks and phases work in this game? Interested in picking it up but after watching a review I have no fucking idea what is going on.

Video on all the Stance Abilities in the game sans Weavile (though it was later found that his High Stance Ability is to regenerate shield).

I played a handful of matches online. Every game has been a lag fest for me.

The netcode has actually been pretty solid for me.

I don’t play my games wireless so should factor big with the lag I’m experiencing. Dumbass Nintendo not having built-in ethernet on their console.

That’ll just come with time. It’s like you’re playing different characters between phases. What could help is remembering what your character’s “goal” is in each phase. For example, Pikachu has a lot of zoning tools in Field Phase. He can use them to cover his approach, counter zone, or play keepaway. In Duel Phase, he retains some of those tools, but his main goal changes to up close pressure. Machamp turns into Zangief in Duel Phase. You don’t need the ranged attacks because he wants get close and grab you or pound you into oblivion. The ranged attacks in Field Phase are mainly to allow him to compete with zoners so he’s not completely fucked.

Not that you’re wrong but I don’t think a lot of people would use wired even if there was a built-in ethernet port

I realize that. It was a problem with the PS3 as well but at least I had the option for wired.

Feel that since I like the game I should post what I’ve done so far.

Was about to buy pokken today. It was sold out. And Im hearing that the game has a specific controller similar to the gamecube controller and smash4. That was a turn off for me to buying it. I guess I gotta get a pro controller first, assuming its compatible

Dre, do you ever research anything?

You can use the Gamepad just fine with this game… Just like Smash doesn’t NEED the Gamecube controller, this game doesn’t NEED the special Pokken controller.

Nope lol. But yea I know you could use the gamepad. Thats a given

I didn’t know any of this existed lol. I thought Pikachu’s did something because of the visual effects, but ruled it out after seeing Blaziken’s lack of visual effects. Thought it was just aesthetic.

I like how Blaziken’s high stance references his pose from the OG Sugimori artwork.

Braixen has some of Xiaoyu moves, from what I’ve noticed.

So, uh…

This is absolutely retarded.
