For his anti air CC, I find myself rolling ahead of the juggled body after the first rep of dp, fierce, roll. It keeps happening but i’ve seen people suceed but inserting st. roundhouse instead of fierce. I dunno, maybe it was vs big sprites or something. Dp, sweep (whiff) seems too hard (im more consistent with a neutral cancel), can someone confirm whether (Dp, roundhouse, roll) X N works and/or suggest any other remedy/their own variations of this combo? Thx in advance
Also, I have problem with the timing of hibiki juggling running slash combo. Would “fence painting” method work and if yes, at what speed? Fast like sakura or slower like bison. thx
(dp, close RH, roll) xN works if you start next to your opponent.
Anyone know some good setups for the pillar super at the end of CC in the corner? I know:
-close HP, walk back, d.HP, d.HP, super
and
-jump back MK x2, d.HPs super
but I can’t get it to work very well. Is there an easier way?
Good shit good shit. I’m gonna play ratio 2 bison more often than blanka now, if I play blanka at all, so I’m assuming that’s all gravy…
So yea take me up on my offer if you really like mag/cable/cyclops or mag/sent/cyclops, I can learn ya something with those… I will see if I can be at cf this friday Like I mentioned mag/cable/cyc is one of my best teams that I’ve been playing for god knows how long so I’m pretty confident in my abilities with them. We’ll also get in some cvs2 if possible…
Hey itslog1, if you go to CF this Friday, you’ll most likely see PokesYOU there, and I’ll be there later on (at like 4-5, depending if I play handball with my friends or not)
I look forward to playing new people. check my sig for the teams I play in CvS2
Oh I am just a random skinny white person. There are a lot of my kind in this world, you know. I’m guessing a is your main groove but what the hell, we can have an A mirror match for the hell of it. We’ll compare notes, or as they say I’ll be getting a private lesson.
Hey man i was wondering if you could help me with my A groove team…(takes a deep breath)…Im using Yun, Hibiki and Geese R2…yeah i know this sounds like an odd team but i dont want to be like everybody else and use sakura…I was hoping you could help me with like setups for Hibiki and Geese…with Yun i have no idea on what kind of combo to do with him…i have a combo with geese and hibiki the combo i use with Hibiki Hk and then the slash were she goes to the other side of the screen and do the geese i do the three hit command combo but right before the last hit i push HP and i keep doing that till i got them to the corner and then when there cornerd i use the double repukan for like 20 hits the i do the three hit combo into the Rising storm…i know this may sound confusing but please help me with setups for these combos…and any CCs for Yun
I’d like to commend you on your decision to use one of my characters. HIBIKI!!! Today, I just learned the importance of reseting your combinations.
reset = to briefly end the combo, and start again, thus reducing the effects of damage scaling. This is only advisable with characters who have a Strong, fast overhead. W/ Hibiki reset w/ dp+K. For more details try this.
For geese . . . I have now idea. but I think you’ve got the right idea using hcb+K, HP (repeat), also, but I bet that when you reach the corner and the meters low, qcf+P, xx hcb+K, but this time let all three hits connect. During this time, buffer a lv.1 Raging Storm. It should be easy w/ all the extra time you get from buffering it from the hcb+K. Of course this is in theory. I dun play Gooses no more. lol. (but i’ll prolly pick him back up).
Anyway, I came to ask a question about activation. However it requires another question for me to apply it. First, how many frames/second does CvS2 run on. I know most 3D games run at 60frames/sec. Second, many invincible frames does the Activation merit. Are there any b4 the “spark”, and how many after. Actual frame data is prefered, but general ballparks will be appreciated as well.
Okay, thats a good team. Geese is kinda meh in A, but still usable.
Hibiki-
HK throw, activate, qcb+mp, qcb+Lp x2, st. fierce, whiff cr. short, sj mp x5, super.
From what i’m thinking, you could probably activate, and use qcf+jab slash as an antiair, then cancel quickly into st. fierce, whiff cr. short, sj strong x2, sj fierce, land, repeat.
Geese-
The combo you have is good.
Possible antiair setup:
activate, hcb+RH(1 hit), cancel into st. jab, st. RH x2, sj strong, repeat until corner, sj fierce x5 in corner, raging storm super.
That setup also works off of cr. rh into fierce double reppuken(1 hit) then hcb+RH…etc.
Thanks Nick T. (Pokes u) im glad to see that someone does like that CC with geese.
Thanks for the other CC with Hibiki i was looking for a good setup for it.
And thanks for all the info u gave me with Yun…and the setup with Geese…
Just to confirm, the Hibiki setup does work. It also works with running slash.
qcf slash works from half screen distance from the corner.
Running slash setup can be repeated with more running slashes.
Also, if you time it right, the running slash will go underneath the opponent and crossup(crossunder:lol: ), then you can go into st. fierce, cr. short…etc.
