Rocks and weather ruin competitive battling. Also some of these newer pokemon are just trolls. Terrakion with higher attack and speed than Lucario? Volcarona? Kyureem B having like 180 Atk and being OU? Seriously gamefreak are trolls. All they had to do to make flareon viable is give flare drive. they could fix a lot of things with those small tweaks. I won’t be buying since its damn near the same game they’ve been putting out for years it looks like. You played one you played them all. Only different is the amount of tedium you are willing to put up with. I’ll stay on pokemon online since that is the point of pokemon, battling. But even that loses luster when every single team is weather based and homogenized.

so Gen 1 and Gen 2 had Team Rocket right, and then later generations had Magma,Plasma, etc. are they all under team rocket or are they just those versions of team rockets for their games
also id want the battle system to be like FF13, it would still be turn based but the pokemon would have more movement and reaction to attacks

that map is incorrect, while some regeons are bassed of japan, the coordination of them are quite different
for example
johto and kanya are direct beside eachother instead of slanted, aswell a the fact that they were based of off, not are the japanese regeons
aswell as he fact that cynthia in the pokemon black and whites games, says herself, that sinnoh isnt that far from here, discribing it as a hop skip and a jump

So fucking Flareon needs fucking Drought and the rumored “Draconeon” is going to get it instead and be better than fucking Flareon mark my fucking words.
They can easily save Flareon with Flare Blitz and a speed boosting move or ability. I doubt BOTH of those will happen though. They can do DLC and patches but honestly with over 700 of these bastards I doubt all of them will receive changes. Perhaps indirectly. I’ve noticed a lot of people didn’t like Gen 5 so it confuses me how they’ve got their hopes now…

About Rock shitting on things. I remember EQ/Ground type moves wrecking LOADS of Pokemon types for free:
-Fire
-Poison
-Rock(lel)
-Steel
Wrecking Steel is debatable. There are enough Steel-types there that have Levitate…or are Skarmory.
But the main thing is…Ground-Types don’t beat the shit out of others even after they’ve left the battle. Stealth Rock is set it and forget it.
I mean, let’s go back to Charizard. Charizard does not give a shit about Ground-types (thank you part-Flying typing). However if Stealth Rock is out, AND IT WILL BE, he can’t even enter the battle without losing half life and likely dying outright. Add to the fact that its best ability to even become relevant also involves sapping his own health and well…yeah.

My complaint with Gen 5 was dialogue. All the fucking “Pokemon and humans grow powerful together…pokemon and trainer friendship…grow strong…pokemon bonds” OH YUCK, tired of that shit.
