Wow… we’re getting a mixed bag. On one hand we have a confirmed Dragon immunity and Poison just got more mileage, on the other hand we have Steel losing resists and the walking Tactical Nuke known as MegaGarchomp.
Gotta admit though his design looks pretty decent. Reminds me of roided Hodi Jones from One Piece.
It’s fucked up that Scizor loses two resistances and still has a 4x weakness. Give MegaScizor Flash Fire, GameFreak… It’s only right 
Well Steel-Tanks are hurt most. Focus Blast is no longer a necessary move. Shadow Ball can be run in its place which will lessen the luck factor of battles.
Fennekin evo looks shitty. When it becomes Fire/fighting is going to drive me nuts

Some other things I glossed over:
That new ability Freeze Skin makes any normal move the Pokemon uses have an Ice Typing for attacking purposes and increases their power. Ice Extremespeed anyone?
Hard Jaw increases the power of biting attacks.
MegaMew22 is Psychic/Fighting.
The T-Rex is Rock/Dragon.
Gengar has a hard on after all these updates.
Fennekin evo is pure fire.
Ironically Froakie has the coolest looking 2nd stage but the starters have all become disappointing already.
Shadow Ball only has a little over half the power of Focus Blast. Unless you have STAB Focus Blast will still be needed.

But it’s also 100% accurate. Unless you’re a lucky shot, chances are you’ll achieve just as much with 2 Shadow Balls as you would with 1 Focus Blast.

Dammit Heracross is gonna be useless against Fairy. Scrafty and Hydreigon got nerfed too, taking 4x damage from Fairy type attacks. But I guess their sacrifices were necessary.
These Smogon guys are going ham, talking about banning shit that has yet to be fleshed out. I only spectate on competitive pokemon, never got into the whole EV/IV training. Give me the MegaHoundoom and I will be happy lol.
