Who would use a fighting-type against Landorus, though? That’s asking to lose. Just bring Cresselia against the more common special set(Cress lols at special Landy), or the bulky water(w/Scald) that you most likely already have on your team for his physical set… Shit’s not hard.
Smogon people just want everything to be countered by the same boring shit they already use and whine about or ban anything that isn’t… Landorus is banned, yet the Latis and Garchomp are still roaming freely… wtf, logic?
No, only lasts for the battle before the Pokemon reverts back to previous state.

A new type gets announced that can fight dragons (theoretically) and dragons are doomed? Hah! When Steel and Dark types got announced for Gen 2 Psychic types stayed amazing.

It’s not the “Death of Dragons” but it is the death of braindead Draco Meteor/Outrage spam, I hope. Anything that will force people to think and play somewhat more strategically is welcome to me. Although the majority will just spam MegaLatios if it turns out to be real and nothing will really change outside of who is OU alongside Tyranitar and Scizor(because we know those guys aren’t going anywhere)

The only thing dead on Dragon Types is the braindead Draco Meteor and forget it. Latios sets will actually have to have some variety to them. Haxorus will now have to make use of the other physical moves he has.

Who would you guys say is the best support pokemon right now? Scizor is pretty close, but lets not forget about what Ferrothorn has done. Swampert took a nose dive out of OU because of him, and Swampert glued a lot of teams together in DPP.
Nope. You forgot the special split hurt them as well. Most OU Psychics from RBY were UU or BL.

If most fairies have low base defense like Gardevoir then get used to Outrage if you haven’t already.
And watch as Outrage completely misses because Fairies are IMMUNE to Dragon type moves, not resistant?
I played a bit of pokemon showdown and it reminded me why I stopped playing pokemon: random chance. I’ve changed my mind about buying a 3DS and the games now. There is just way too much random chance in the series and it has too large of an outcome on matches.
