Normal’s my guess too. It just doesn’t say “Light” to me, even if that type was added. It also shares a lot of visual similarities to Skitty, which leads me to further believe its a Normal-type.
Adding a new type is completely unnecessary, especially when they still haven’t solved the typing issues with the other 17.
I also think Sylveon is a Normal type. I just hope it has a cool Trait and decent stat distrubution to make up for its “Normalness”
a new type? psh they need to fix what types they already have! Light could just be Elec without needing a whole new type but guess that could be said for Ghost/dark. either way, just picked up a 3DS so I might just get back in come X and Y

Also? Fuck adding new types. As stated, they only need to tweak a couple things to get things pretty well balanced (mainly removing a weakness or two from ice type).
All I know is they better have no rock gym as the 1st gym this time and PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD GIVE US A DARK TYPE GYM. Also a Tropius and Farfetch evolution will be appreciated. Also everyone getting the game at the same time kinda sucks cause know I wont know what pokes and new moves are in the game and what pokes are gonna be broken like the past two generations.

Man, the anime is going into full-on Gen 1 mode. We’ve got Mewtwo in the new movie, and Ash just got his Charizard back. About a third of the last ep was just flashbacks to 'zards best moments.

There are much better things that need an evolution over the HM slave that is Tropius. Also, grass/flying has got to be one of the worst typing duos ever.

Okay, one of two things will happen.
Either people will fall in line and proclaim Mewtwo getting new stuff is great.
