It’s decent OST, but it’s a complete failure as gym leader music. It just isn’t catchy enough.

Of all things, the OST is the last thing in Pokemon I would expect to crumble.

Admittedly, it is a departure from the usual peppy Gym Leader music, but from what I’ve heard of the OST, it’s really damn good and stands up with some of the best in the series.

I’m just saying it sounds mismatched.

Game Freak starts a trend of catchy gym leader music, and then they make THAT. It literally sounds like late game boss music and I would be fine if that’s what it was.

No game is perfect. I can find error in pretty much any game. Deal with it.

I don’t like that gym leader theme either. It’s too dissonant for a pokemon game IMO. The team flare theme wasn’t bad, though.


is my favorite theme from all pokemon and pokemon mansion is my favorite in the main series games, if only for the polyrhythm.
