Well this is a first. Got a batch of 5 Froakies…and ALL their Hidden Powers ended up Grass >_<.
Ah shit, just realised I’ve been calling Mega Pinsir Mega Heracross all this time, sorry about that, it was late at night and I was starting to fall asleep.
I’m running Gliscor with policy simply because if he doesn’t get hit by a super effective then he gives 0 fucks about anything, buffs twice and passes and if he gets hit by super effective water special he’s switching out or dying next turn, poison heal or not so he may as well be buffing speed and both attacks at once before he passes.
Looked into Smeargle, but whilst focusband/spore/buff looks good the amount of good priority moves this gen makes me nervous, Gliscor seems more likely to get in and buff something twice whilst Smeargle looks more likely to focus band a priority move, buff once and then not be able to batton pass because the opponent switched in another priority attacker, could just be my meta there though lol, guys near me love the priority.

dont HP get locked in at that point. i was reading on how to get the right HP and it was based on the IV breakdown. so with the use of destiny knot and the majority of your eggs having the same IV you will get the same HP. getting the right HP seemed more hassle than 5 iv breeding so i gave up on the idea pretty quick.
@everyflowflower what times do you normally log in/free? i’ve added your 2nd account and my FC is in my signature. but i’m at 0GMT so depending on what timezone you are in keep thinking i’m missing you.

So does Greninja get STAB attack with every attack because of Protean or?
Also how do you tell what Hidden Power a Pokemon has?
Yes it gets STAB on everything and turns into the type of the move it uses on each turn. Also you can just go Anistar City to the rightmost house in line with the Pokemon center and talk to the Psychic dude inside to find out your Pokemon’s Hidden Power.
fight a kecleon or go to anistar i think and this girl will tell you what hidden power your poke has

yea, with hidden power and protean, you essentially have a beam attack in every type except for fairy and normal (unstabbed beam attack), it’s pretty damn good
