Close Combat OHKO’s all Tyranitars(Mega and non-mega) and Heatrans and Blissey’s, OHKOs a Mega Kangaskhan running full health after stealth rocks, OHKOs Magnezone even when Pinsir isn’t a mega, takes care of Lucario, and much more.
There is absolutely NO reason to run return over close combat.
Running Return over Quick Attack is an option(but the worst one) but I’d recommend being Jolly if you are going this route. Auto-dying to priority users like Donphan, Mamoswine, and friends is no bueno though, especially when switching out will cause you to lose 50% switching back in(dem stealth rocks).
Quick attack is the best option if you want to sweep with a pinsir, and I definitely think you would want to stay in. Switching out has too many consequences.
Air balloon also would prevent some issues to the set above(rooster’s), Excadrill would rock slide the shit out of you, but with close combat, you are guaranteed to OHKO a Excadrill even running max defense and health.
Was looking through my pc box in pokemon black, and I noticed I have a whole bunch of Phione. Do you guys want any Phione when pokebank comes out? They are breedable. They would be better if they can evolve into manaphy.
Going through Super Double Battle at Battle Maison.
Sylveon
Charizard (X)
Delphox
Ferrothorn
All of them are fully trained, battle ready mons. Ferrothorn covers everyone else’s weaknesses minus Dark and Ghost, and everyone else covers his for the most part.
Can anyone spot any serious flaws? I lead with Charizard and Sylveon and it’s worked well so far. 10 wins in and each battle takes like 5 minutes so I don’t want to get bodied.
