For some weird reason… Ogre and Poison work really well. I’ll explain in more detail after more lab time.
I am trying Poison / King. I just need to pick some good combos and mastery the switch cancel move.
Liking Poison/Juri aka Team Pink Mist for the same reasons Jamp mentioned. Also curious about Poison/Julia and Poison/Kazuya.
Poison and Julia do not work well at all… infact they get each other killed.
Care to explain?
Niether of them have moves to tag each other in easily other than the default chain. Its like this… both of them are best as either a point character and have very few ways to tag in that make it worth it.
Julia and Poison can combo off each others DP’s…and Julia hits like a truck…whats the problem?
Julia is a beast regardless of who’s she with. I love her! 
And I used to hate her in Tekken because she hit too damn hard as a female, but…!! On to the main goddess here; Poison. I read through this Team Synergy thread and saw little to nothing about Poison/Nina. How do you all think these two women would pair up?
I don’t think Poison is the right choice for Julia, someone who can give better tag outs to add to julia’s damage would do better.
I don’t think Poison really works with anybody the way other teams do. She works well on her own and for others, but she doesn’t really tag in from anyone else, no?
I can’t agree with either of these two Post…V-Ryu actually proved (to me at least) that Julia works well with her, in terms of combos and tag out options…your pretty much says she doesn’t…with out saying why really…because saying Julia can have a partner who does better damage then…why even play Poison to begin with o_O
Second, Poison can work with characters…I don’t see why she can’t. She has a good Boost combo, she has a switch cancel special, she has good combos from a switch cancel or boost combo…why is she a bad partner? It’s like we are talking in circles…
At the top of this page you have Jamp giving clear cut Combos that work with Juri, and Juri can do alot of the same stuff off of Poison’s :mk: Kissed by a Goddess if you switch cancel early, They both have good boost combos, why are they not good partners? because they talk smack to each other o_O
Im fine with post talking about synergy…but these last two post don’t explain why really…well Genistar you essentially why because Poison does low damage…but that redundant as we are in the Poison team synergy thread…
Iyokuu it seems like yours was more of a question then a general statement…but if you read this post thus far you just found out at least one way to combo with Poison so i’ll leave it on that note.
I can’t really explain why she doesn’t work well with her at the moment. its just an odd feeling. I can explain other teams but not this one for some unknown reason.
Poison is a point character who does well on her own…
Basic Bnb: cr.lp, cr.mk, Fierce WoL, Dash up, Fierce fireball, Overhead or cr.mk, WoL
if you predict a tech roll you can jump back with lk and continue pressure…
This is literally all i use with poison and have a 95% win rate with over 500 games played with her…
Though if she were to have a teammate i think Juri would best fit the role… only because they have a similar win pose

-_-’ ok for one…why is Poison a Point character exclusively? can you give me a reason why you think this because I’m pretty sure she isn’t. I can get why she self-efficient, but she does benefit from her partner…your not giving a reason for these statements…she can get good damage off Switch cancels and also start them. I don’t know why people keep saying this.
and for the note you mentions…
-All normal versions of her rekka or WoL is the same…there is no really need to notate it.
-her normal overhead is a bad move in general…60 points of damage isn’t worth eating a DP or any other move thats faster then 6 frames…on hit…its worse on block.
-About every character has a potential OS for tech rolls at this point… :ub: + any air normal is relatively standard for most of the cast.
summaries should be in GD instead of this thread…
up to you Broly, but use what order feels best for you…if your playing online, to use Gems that will help dictate what order u should use. like gems for tag cancels or after boost combos would help you figure out he order if your interested.
as for geif…just zone him out.
Can LMT be switch canceled?
no it can not…the only special moves im aware of she can switch cancel from are any stage of Whip of love and Kissed by a Goddess, the other two special can’t.
KBG is a good move to switch cancel from tho…
the :mk: version lets you get a extended juggle from it( have to wait for your partner to catch up with your opponent though)
and the :hk: is best used for corner combos using Switch cancels.
Switch Canceling the 3rd stage of WoL is good for partner characters who rely of hard knockdowns to do deadly mixups or can utilize the situation better then Poison could for the moment. It’s also a “safer” tag out option for Poison if the last hit lands.
Any thoughts on Law/Poison?
So I’m playing Poison/Kazuya (I just like the characters) but watching Mr. Naps’ Rolento/Kazuya team is really eye-opening. The only realistic way I can see to continue a Poison combo, with Kazuya, is with a launch combo.
Law has great tag cancel options and does great damage overall…I personally haven’t touched him yet but I have no doubt that he can work well with her given you abuse Poison’s strengths…and not worry about her low solo damage output.
maybe later i’ll give him a shot…
