So you can do fancy stuff in the corner like, hp AE-st.HP-mp.AE-cr.LP-EX.AE (X3)-cr.LP-EX rekka-Ultra 1
She can do Fierce AE > st.hp > strong AE> fadc> light srk for 521.
cr lp, st mk, cr lp, st mk, mp rekka or ex rekka

Not sure if its been said but if they land on fireball while in the air you get a free juggle, you can get some pretty sweet stuff from it like ultra and rekkas (all the hits) you can even hit them with a normal and cancel it into a meaty fireball
Also after meaty hp.fireball you can pretty much link anything including ultra pretty easy to confirm too, once again sorry if this info is old lool
You can link close s. HK and crouch HP after a counter hit jaguar kick.
Close s.HP links into EX LMT pretty nicely, so you could do a jump in combo. Probably better to go for uppercut or rekkas though. Off a
nice j.HK I usually just go cl s.HK/s.MK into uppercut depending on range
With this, St.Lp will whiff against smaller crouching characters. You’re better off doing Cr.Lk, Cr.Lp, St.Mk xx Rekka. The really great thing about this combo is that it starts by opening them up low and moves to an easier link when compared to lklk which is unreliable.
I think it’s like 214 damage or something as well. I don’t know the stun though.
So…highly impractical, but if you happen to use a rekka as an AA and trade, you can follow it up with ultra. If you don’t trade, you can follow it up with EX DP.
So this is just to prove the point that meatie LMT is awesome. I have a few set ups that hit meatie and cause certain chars DPs and Ultras to whiff, but only meatie enough to get cl.MK afterwards. You’re not doing it to hit (since it hits meatie it’s + on block) but if it does hit it hurts really bad and makes people respect. At this point what can we say are the optimal non ultra/super combos for Poison right now?
Best hit confirm, best punish combo, best corner combo, best combo with 1 bar, 2 bars, 3 bars, full stock, etc.
Right now I think the best hit confirm is c. LP or c. LK, c. LP, s. MK, rekka. Best punish is close s. MP, cr. HP, rekka. Best combo with 1 bar is the above with EX rekka and HP rekka followup if it reaches. Otherwise do j. HK or HP. Don’t know about the rest.
The best thing about EX Rekkas is the reset. I’ve been using this really shenanigan based setups where you mix up cr.Lk’s with cross up Lk.
I was playing around with EX rekka resets, if you hit Ryu about half way down with J.HP you can get a non-cross up J.HK or a cross up LK.
Why is the range on WoL so low, what would be the downside to increasing the range if it’s unsafe anyway? Would increasing the range for it to hit on max st.mk change any of the matchups she’s in ?
Are you trying M Rekkas? I found that stuff I couldn’t hit with the light version I could with medium version, it seems to actually have more range.
Yeah I didn’t realize that at first. You always want to cancel into the slowest rekkas that work.
I’m using m rekkas, Oni falls out of it at the tip of st.mk.
