oh dear, there’s a radec. he’s spamming full screen gunshot. i’ll try to get close to him. ah, got hit by gunshot. now im on the other side of the screen again. okay, i’m close to him. let’s try an attack. i hit him! nope, got hit by kratos even though he wasn’t anywhere close to me. close to radec again. ohh got a combo and sent him flying across the screen! hmm, he’s spamming again. let’s chase him down and try my lvl 1. ahh, my lvl 1 was stuffed. EE! radec almost has lvl 3! quick, spam grab! i grabbed him omg yess!! nope, got hit by the other radec spammer. ugh, are you serious? there is two radec spammers on both sides of the screen. c’mon did radec really need to get the rocket launcher? he already has a fast full screen projectile that he can use as much as he wants. yay i got he rocket launcher! uses rocket launcher now i know what it’s like to use radec hehe got the purple thing! go smack radec around and take his meter! mmm… radec activated lvl 3… should i even try to run?

i really plan on maining dante. i sure hope that dante is just as cheap, cheaper even, as radec and kratos.
anyways, i’ve gotten a little better with fat princess. i use the soldiers and air soldiers a lot; they don’t seem to help very much. i use a lot of air down+triangle a lot, and it seems to allow for multiple followups. if it hits one enemy, i’ll do my go-to combo (mash forward triangle, up+traingle). you can also walk towards the opponent a little bit and grab. if it hits multiple enemies, i’ll mash neutral triangle. her charged square is interesting because it doesn’t always have armor. i’ve seen it clearly get beaten by one hit normals, especially parappa, but i think it’s unblockable on full charge.
there was a pretty cool fat princess combo in her trailer. it looks something like neutral square, forward square, something, up circle, jump, up triangle. her lvl 3 only lasts long enough to kill everyone on screen once. i wish it lasted a little longer. also, L2 is a taunt button. fat princess jumps and laughs lol.
2v2 is showing stable win ratios. I imagine 1v1 will be competitively viable so long as there isn’t a game-breaking bug / massively imbalanced character.
I hope you don’t play me when I use Radec. I’ll make my side of the screen look like a jungle gym.
Radec is really good. I think the main problem with him is that his S,S combo knocks back and you can combo a sniper shot into which forces your opponent back to the other corner.
Some dude just wrecked house with Parappa in one of the games I was in. Parappa combos gain a grip of AP; the same goes for Kratos. Pretty sure I’ll enjoy Kratos more once I figure out some combos with him.
I think I played you and your friend last night? Were you double FP? My friend and I were Sweet Tooth/Parappa.
I’ve discovered some godlike Parappa tech in training mode, you can consistently max out the AP limit if you add a light uppercut link in his combos. If you do Parappa’s light uppercut, you can land and link it into another uppercut, keeping his double jump available. In fact, you can link two light uppercuts, link into heavy uppercut, and then into air uppercut. Easy way to max out AP, especially if you add the common starters (mic grapple, jab-sweep combo, etc.)
Who do you play radec? Because always pisses me off when I’m radec.
Also ive been owning people with sweettooth lately. People.seem to not know how to fight him with the exception of a smart Radec player here or there, most kratos players come right after me thinking they have the edge just to get owned by the shotty.
Tooth still has a really slow meter gain tho so I constantly have to avoid throws because I’ve started to save for lvl 3’s. It so beastly.
I think sly is likely the most annoying of all the beta characters. His lvl 1 has pretty good range can wipe a board pretty effectively since sly can position himself so well.
His agility makes him hard to pin down which makes me and I’m sure others hesitant to use lvl1’s or 2’s especially intelligent sly players. It’s made even more a gamble because of his invisibility.
I don’t think Sly is cheap but he does have a full set of good supers which is more than I can say for others characters.
One big problem with Radec and Kratos is how similar the colors are. Somebody needs to let them know that they need those ST color schemes. Kratos mirrors aren’t too bad but I find myself looking for the player number many times with more than one Radec on screen.
I’m a Radec player and even I do not understand why people will gang up and fight each other instead of attacking the guy at the edge of the screen spamming sniper shots with Radec. These idiots attack me instead of going after the OTHER Radec who racking up free kills from a distance. They’re not smart enough to STOP and go kill that son of bitch
Scumbag tactics with people who have the controllable level 3s: the timer stops when you use them. So if you wait until there are a few seconds on the clock and then level 3, you can leave hella people mad.

I checked the control config on the pause menu during a match and I’m disappointed with how generic the in-game notations are. Simply a attack 1, 2 and 3.
They better nerf the shit out of Kratos… He’s too fucking annoying lol. Its like if Dhalsims limbs were rapid fire and did hella damage. His design is just broken!
Almost everything he has is punishable on block. Kratos sucks in 1v1, he’s only decent in free for all because you’re distracted by 2 other opponents who can combo breaker you.
