Radec is an absolute blast to play. Lightning arcs with stun grenades are awesome.
Could you think of full ground coverage of a team of radec and sweetooth? Fire grenades and charges on the ground haha.
I downloaded the beta on my vita late last night and only played one match, using Kratos. I’m dissapointed that there’s not offline mode in the beta outside of tutorial. I was hoping to go into training mode and break down the game some.
How many stages does this beta have? I keep getting Metropolis.
Just Metropolis and Hades like the last beta.
I think Fat Princess’s circle attacks need improvement. Her minions come out way too slow to be even remotely useful.
Sweet tooth is awful. Short range, long startups, and sub par supers.
Kratos and Radec need to be the first casualties of the nerf bat. Radec’s ranged game is far too effective, and Kratos has twice the reach every other character does. They could keep his reach and lower the priority of his moves.
I take back what I said about two of Fat Princess’s circle attacks. Down-circle, air circle, and air front-circle have some nice utility. I’d still like to see their start-up decreased, though. The rest aren’t worth using.
Radec needs no nerf bat. He is perfectly fine the way he is. Though I wish that his down+square bomb dropped in faster rate when used in the air.
Someone should add me on PSN and team with me.
Radec is going to get nerfed bad due to scrubs.
I’ve played the beta for a couple of hours this evening. Everyone but Sweetooth seems viable. Sweetooth has no range, no speed…no nothing. His only decent projectile is pretty bad and his only super worth a damn is his level 3.
Kratos does need a small nerf to his square attacks, but other wise he is fine. His main problem is that he builds meter way too fast like Radec does.
Determining balance in Free for All is silly.
Well, there were some DCs and it was just me (kratos) vs sweet tooth. It was impossible for him. I was half trolling the guy at one point because he had NOTHING to get past kratos’s normals.
Radec brings on the salt hard. Had many matches where people would rage quit including the host (Why a game like this doesn’t have host migration) and dudes with mics screaming like bitches.
He’s got guns and mines and some sweet level 1 setups (it’s basically his command throw). Plus his chainsaw has armor and his shoulder tackle is fast. If he can’t do anything against Kratos, maybe that’s just a bad matchup, not that Sweet Tooth is a bad character. Or maybe that guy just sucked, who knows. Point being, 4 man Free for All online is not how one goes about determining balance and character viability.
So, Fat Princess’s level 3… not worth it. The Chicken is better in every way.

Did they nerf Fat Princess level 1? I remember reports from previous builds stating she had the fastest level 1 in the game. In this beta I been avoiding it on reaction.
God, I love playing Radec in this game. He’s so fuckin cheesy with that long range laser sight shot and teleporting bomb drops. Lol, I’m probably maining him and Drake
