Played dudley...

I think dudley is better then steve fox imo. Just my opinion, he still has the same problems trouble getting in just like ssf4 ae, but it’s not as bad as it was in that game. His short swing blow is better then his 3rd strike version. I think it’s his scariest move, and machine gun blow gives you all the time in the world to switch out.

Also his, EX machine gun blow sets up for nastyyyyyy trade ins. His overhead is god like still, Next time I play him I’mma try and get more info

Not to mention he has a get out move, “his jet upper”

he has anti airs, and good trade ins, he builds good meter, and all that good stuff =D

When it comes to pressure though to getting inside steve fox wins. When ti comes to high low mix ups dudley rapes steve all day. Dudleys short swing blow, Dudley is dangerous cause of short swing blow, with a mix of walk up grab because of his walk speed, once they start fearing short swing you can just go crazy with overheads etc. I still need to test properties on short swing though like what happens with his counter hits.

Any requests peeps?

Actually yes I do… do you know if the properties on his f+k and st. Rh are the same… as well as his cr. Jab hit confirms?

f.mk? didn’t really use that move that much i’ll let u kno though once my guy gets off school. St.RH feels the same, it’s the same anti poke move, I was still able to use it the same when I fought my friends chun li and he threw out st.hp and I did st.rh as a counter poke. I can cancel st.rh with duck and ex mgb. his cr.jab is better then steve fox, it can combo into cr.mp, gonna see if it can combo into st.rh, but i was doing stuff like this…

(st.rh, low duck did this for pressure), cr.jab, cr.mp, ex machine gun, cr.mp, cr.mp, uppercut or low duck upper. his low duck straight on CH can be comboed into with cr.mp

whatever problems steve fox has, dudley will have trouble ten fold, but dudleys got anti airs, i’mma see if thirtyfours tut will work for dudley and just do it that way. Like against rolento, Dudleys cross counter will help alot. but other then that, rolento can play gay. Gonna see if dudleys ex short swing has any properties

EDIT:::

Dudley can pretty much link anything he wants when he gets in. Steve fox is better getting in but he’s limited to what he can do against a blocking opponent, Dudley struggles a tad bit more to get in but once he gets in, it’s nightmare time because he can link all his light punches and kicks into medium punch, gonna test if it will work lights into heavies. Pretty sure it does.

Right on thanks… also a bit curious about his target combos in this game lol

CANT WAIT!!!

dudleys overhead is lol, you can pull out 350+ dmg with just landing overhead with dudley.

I’m so jealous of you right now haha. Can you chain into the overhead? And how do his links feel in comparison to SSF4? Can. Not. Wait. For. Dudley.

Good question i’ll let you know about that one.

They copy pasted the fuck outta dudley lol.

Also I think short swing blow is 0 on block… “need frame data ugh”. fffffuuuuu capcom

if your going for ex machine gun blow, then I say go for cr.mp, if your going for heavy machine gun then go for st.rh

You can combo into EX mgb from cr. mp!!!

LORD…JESUS!! TAKE ME NOW!!!

I want Dudley. NOW!!

The better my steve gets the more I say steve and dudley are better in their “own” ways like…

Steve can zone better then dudley of course because of fire ball and f.mp pressure

But dudleys close up pressure is like 3rd strike on steroids and of course anti airs and a better counter after it lands gives you time to switch, you can do a mind game and do cross counter and when they think you switch and they roll forward, you smack them up with overhead. lol bet they won’t roll forward again

I highly doubt you can chain into over head… that type of nonsense is reserved for the tekken cast :stuck_out_tongue:

But seriously it would make zero sense to be able to chain INTO overhead.

Also side note if you can hit confirm into st. Rh. Then you might as well use that all the time for mgb combos, ex or non…

Do all mgbs set up juggle state in this?

cr.jab links into light machine gun

Cr.mp links into light machine, medium machine and ex machine

st.rh links into all the machine guns.

if your going for a trade in, go for heavy machine gun because it allows you to continue the combo after the trade.

If you want legit combos off machine then go for ex machine gun.

what do you mean mgbs set up juggle? like 3rd strike?

Is there any footage of his super and do you think he would be a good anchor for steve? I wan team Britannia!

Ehh, they are both characters that need ex meter, but more so steve fox.

Dudley builds meter quicker but dudley works to get inside, but his jumping elbow is still amazing “J.HK”.

Dudley can pull out more dmg then steve no meter. Not sure about who can pull out with meter though. That’s a tough call.

Ah fair enough. will have to hit the training room. team britain is too hard to just drop :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
thanks for the reply.

lol, dudleys machine gun blows are so free to getting your teammate in… YOu can use LIGHT machine gun blow on hit or block and if they block it they can’t punish you and instead you can friggin keep block strings going! if light machine gun lands and you switch out you can combo! LOL DUDLEYY

ALL DAT DIGNITY HAS PAID OFF FOLKS

Dudley/Steve is looking like the optimal team order correct?

if you do that team start with dudley first but I do recommend choosing either dudley or steve. a dudley/steve combo, It could work but i’mma go rolento/dudley… **k the bll***t. lmao

I must rep my TRUE boxing team, dudley and steve.
