Well I finally decided to record one of the hardest offline challengers as proof it’s possible:
This include things like I-frames, armor, etc?
short answer, yes.
Not direct feed, kill yoself
Gonna try and get on PS3 a bit later tonight, are you guys up for a BR or anything?
>BR
>BR
>BR
we kinda stopped having those a while back after some problems arose. from what i remember, the major ones were AR’s inability to handle more than 8 players, so they were always really laggy (unless you did a private one with 8 guys) along with the fact that they took forever to fill. the more recent ones were that members of funarchy started this trend of collusion where the goal was of multiple people dicking around with someone while other guys stood around & tried looking pretty. really cancerous stuff, i tell ya. it escalated to the point where the last br i was in, the skype group initiated a gang war with funarchy members while dz kept antagonizing them in their chatroom as it went on. all the while aldalome gave no fucks about anything. he didn’t wanna listen about all of the above & periodically stopped participating, even though most of the time he’s the one who hosted them. so weird.
I need to hop back into this game soon, within the week at least.
Hey to be fair, they started it. But it was pretty fun being the villain for a night XD!
Wow really? So what, people just stood around and did nothing? I had a few BRs on PS3 the other day and while I didn’t see many people I recognized (as in people from the forums) they were still active players and it was cool.
That kind of sucks though, I can understand one or two people watching one fight between two guys but by the sounds of it, its a “gang” mentality. We have a few guys over here who tend to team up but there to small to be relevant.
That BR situation sounds infuriating lol.
Fuck, I miss this game. Been living with my dad for a while. No ps3, no internet.
Sooooo saaaad
hey fear, did you & the other guys ever find anything conclusive about rampage inheritance in team bat?
I know one thing, you only get the rampage based on how much you built even while not leader. That’s if you get anything at all. I noticed sometimes when I become leader that I have half a rampage bar filled if I fought a bit, but not enough to have it ready if the previous leader did. But I don’t think elements matter. Sometimes when you’re Zero and I’m Bayo, the rampage doesn’t share between us. Not really sure what the definite factor is.
Just picked this game back up after nearly a year (too many other good releases demanding my time…this has been a good year). Anywho, in the singleplayer, do you have to pass the side missions to get access to the MAIN missions, or can you just fuck around and eventually a main mission will become available? Cuz I can’t beat the Sentinel ripoff in the “control the mutant” mission. shame
IIRC you unlock new missions when surpassing a certain score doing side missions or killing enemies repetitively. The latter is more time-consuming, I just do over a side mission I’m comfortable with until I unlock new missions
Never figured it out but I think what deezee said is pretty accurate, it’s based on your own “invisible” rampage built up. All it’d take to test it is a few private matches, build a rampage, blow it, then have someone else get leader who was also building it blindly and let it switch to him–see what happens.
Just my theory though. Element is confirmed to NOT matter.
ok thanks guys
yeah that can work. you can also just unlock the next main mission quicker if you get a perfect during the first one due to the 100k bonus.
For the record, doing jump attacks with the Berserker Mutant does a looooot more damage. Try that if you want.
shiz did some testing offline and the rampage always transfers offline. Just last night we played a match where my rampage didn’t transfer to neon. I was pretty confused, so online screws with yet another game mechanic. Cool.
Saw all this talk on the Facebook group about a 1 year reunion for this game.
