Nintendo Sony, EA, etc didn’t answer requests because they know that people will boyscott their company. Sure Capcom is ballsy for admitting the truth, but they are endangering business just because they want to impress ESA(who will be trolled in the future)
The boycott doesn’t have to be permanent, but just long enough so these corporations know that they just can’t do whatever they want and expect us to come back like battered housewives.
You along with majority of the people in this thread have it all wrong. This SOPA bullshit isn’t just about piracy. Piracy is the least of things to worry about in regards to the current written form of SOPA and Protect-IP.
Even nintendo? Why is this surprising at all? The wii is a complete trash system and the 3ds was a sales failure. They are running off of washed up icons who have repetitious games and have ridiculous business standards that total to make the company an annoyance for its gamers. For example, there is no fucking Ethernet port on the wii. You have to buy a wii adapter if you want to use wired internet for the wii. If you want to open a nintendo device, you have to buy a triwing screwdriver customized for nintendo products which isn’t available at pretty much any store in the world. Nintendo also uses graphics equivalent to the ps2 and xbox (180) in the year 2012. It’s no surprise that they aren’t doing that well. I hope they do even worse, so they realize they need to step their game up. . . fuck nintendo
