there’s still a couple hours left before the bill goes through Congress and if you love eSports, youtube, facebook and all other entertainment values of the internet then please lets all come together and voice our opinions. Not to mention SOPA will kill internet businesses. SOPA will destroy our internet freedom and part of the first amendment of freedom of speech. This is unconstitutional so let’s not have this extra burden on us.

SOPA voting has been postponed until after the new years break. We have some time left to get more names and on the petition for reddit. FGC, eSports and internet are awesome lets keep it this way. Help spread the word about SOPA and share this link for the petition please! Thanks SRK!

It isn’t true. According to the Electronic Frontier Foundation, it will resume very soon (12/21.)

Sorry, post I made was before they announced the Wednesday. There’s still time, this country can’t be screwed if we have people who will stick and stand by freedom. This is something that involves all of us. This is important now and in the future. Help spread the word. Make a phone call. Remember that in the US, it is a government for the people and by the people. **WE **own the government, the powers we give it, we can take it away. All it takes is for more people to wake up and to rebel. We can’t let this tyranny run any longer.

I think this is so important that I am going to double post. Hah! If you can spare any time, please do at least one of the things listed here. The large majority of the people trying to push SOPA through have been lobbied to hell and back. Not only that, many of those lobbied don’t have a clue how the internet works at all (I wish I was just bitter, but this is actually true. If you know what a firewall does in it’s most basic terms, you know more than most of these people do.)

Nah, it’s not you. I meant, many news organizations, blogs about this, etc. are falsely reporting that this has been delayed until 2012. It may have been delayed until January, but this has not been confirmed yet.

When I was visiting China and using my cousins computer for the internet, it was literally a prison on the web. Youtube blocked, Facebook blocked. Thank you for joining in to realize that this is a very serious matter. NDAA and SOPA will throw us ever closer into complete communism.

I made an open FB event, it hasn’t gotten much attention yet but, I think if more people are invited then more can know about it and understand what is happening. Most people don’t even know that they are losing their internet soon. Seeing people decline this invite makes me sad knowing that they are so blinded and tunnel visioned into their own little world. I really hope Ultra David can join in with us in this fight.

I sure hope, this can attract more people here. If totalbiscuit is caring about US laws and he is not even from US then I think we need start caring more. The big names of eSports should help us spread the word about this and inform them that SOPA is a serious problem. They have stronger voices than us.

Already signed a petition for this. They sent a letter to my congressmen with the names of people from my area who also petitioned against it.

More people needs to know it is stupid and DANGEROUS. Everyone who lives in US needs to start waking up. I have been trying to get people from teamliquid to join in the facebook group and event so they will all know and pass it along to others too. I’ve also wrote an email to UltraDavid and I hope he will respond and join this cause. Write to him if you can please. If eSports, internet and liberty is important to you then we all have to pitch in. Help spread it anyway you can.

i know, but that was a different version(S. 978) thats not even as crazy as this. I’m just hoping to get his attention that this bill is in congress right now and it’s an immediate threat. Hopefully we can all help each other as he is an expert in this field to kill this bill and prevent anymore of this in the future.
