I have my sticks if anybody REALLY needs to borrow a stick for this. 2 p360 MAS, one TE, one Hori.
I suspect everybody I know/like is covered, but thought I’d mention it just in case.
If you DO absolutely need to borrow one, you’d be in charge of it for the day since I would be doing other things.
Maaan, I have a Job interview at 6 tomorrow, so I’ll need to run a bit early.
It’s cool though, since if I get this job my income will nearly double!
Hey, would it be cool if I borrowed that Hori stick? I don’t have a 360 stick (just PS3), and I really don’t want to play on the 360 pad for the SFIV tourney.
I was the guy who tried to play low tier at PNW and absolutely failed instead of being decently succesful like Brian.

Just a reminder if anyone plans on going to GW after/during PAX- there are usually buy outs that happen during this weekend from some of the game devs holding ‘VIP’ parties. I know for the last few years PA rented the place out Sunday night for an enforcers ‘thank you’.
Just fyi. If you plan on going to GW this weekend it might behoove you to call ahead and see if they are open to the public.

Elitist in what field/expertise/whatever? The thought of an elitist fanboy or gamer is too hilarious for me to be angry at. What are they possibly contributing to society or the arts? This is why I can’t hate on someone like TFGM and only laugh at him.
I don’t know - everybody I met at last year’s PAX was nice as hell - and I’ve met a lot of people - you will too when you’re waiting in a giant ass line that zig zags around an area the size of 2 basketball courts for an hour and a half.
Picking up my pass was pretty scary today, the registration area was pretty empty and all the enforcer guys tried to out-nerd each other infront of me.
Why do they all sound like beavis and butthead?
It more had to do with the staff then the attendees. I haven’t been to pax as an attendee only as staff. You have to understand that the convention has increased in a huge way. 3k-9k-30k people etc. So the staff also increases by a lot. People started doing a lot of enforcer activities during the year outside pax. Basically if you didn’t go to all the shit they did you weren’t like one of the crew and people would treat you like shit. I also had a lot of drama with the guy who ran console freeplay, he was an asshole. Finally, they know staff are easy to replace and they make it known to frequently. I used to enjoy the sense of community I got when I went to pax but that has seemed to have died for me.
It was definitely more close knit in the Meydenbauer days and easy to run across people. Lines werent as insane and freeplay was smaller and more fun. This year was the first downtown Seattle PAX that I buy the 3 day pass for, only been there for a few hours every year since it moved there. I only went in 2007 because I had a free 3 day pass from a friend and last year cuz of Starcraft 2. My statement holds though, you just dont have a high and mighty attitude because you run shit at a con. Gimme a break.

I know it might be a long shot, but we might have met. I was also an Enforcer all 3 years (The last year I was unofficial and just helped during tear down in the PC room).
Did you go to the first year’s Enforcer party at the Dark Lord’s place? I was the dude who was Wang Jousting with a Larger-than-normal Chess piece sticking out his zipper.
I used to cruise around with Kelp, Catboy, Flatrabbit, BigRed and some others.
I went 05-07. Yeah I remember flatrabbit, he sorta fell off the face of the planet.
Im not sure if I met you, I worked in console free play in 05 when it was a goddamn nightmare. We had no games for people to play, most people were playing my own personal games.
the remaining years I allegedly worked console freeplay, but due to bullshit with kenneth I ended up helping other departments.
PAX is freakin’ awesome!!!
