It’s throw on hit AFAIK. Wiki has info on it. Her Tenrai-Ha heavy drop has unique properties also.
So a few notes to remember and put out there for the general public to see.
#1 When using Filia’s Hairball assist (HK) and using peacock’s HK teleport to get behind the opponent then launching them into a BnB the game will register this as an infinite. BnB (LPx2, MP, MK, j.LP, jLK, jMK, IADF, jLP, jMP)
#2 I made a water downed version of rogueyoshi’s amazing corner combo. This combo works only in the corner.
LK, MP, HK, Light Bomb Throw, MP, MK, jLK, jMP, IAD, jLP, jMP, LAND, LPx2, MP, HP, BANG! (MP), OTG Cr. MK, Cr.HP, BANG! (MK) super cancel Argus Agony.
So is there a haters gonna hate gif with her backwalk yet? Haha

Peacock with Parasoul’s flash kick assist is too good.
I’m trying to use j.hk as a pressure/mix-up tool at the moment. There’s a few variations hitting j.hk asap, or delaying it ever so slightly, always dashing afterward.
Variations (after the dash) in the air being j.lp or j.mk (which is a low)
Landing, depending on the delay of the bird, can use it to set up a throw, go back into an instant overhead (jump dash j.lp/lk) or a low (cr.mk/cr.hp). Should be able to confirm these into reasonably damaging combos as well. I’m actually forgetting what I did as a hit confirm ><.Off a low s.HK xx Item Drop s.mk, j.lp, j.mp, j.mk s.mp s.hp Bang!(MP) Argus. I recall slight variants… I need to write these down when I’m doing them.
Also I’m just realizing I neglected to test this out of the corner, but I imagine it wouldn’t be too different, may have to change the timing of the air dash. If any Peacock’s out there like to throw down with the rest of them, give this mix-up a whirl and see how it goes, lemme know if it works out for you, or if you have any changes/variations you would like to add.
So… This is prooooobably something hella desperate in a match, but…
If you land an airgrab while their cornered (prolly of s.mk?) you can
Set the bomb super instantly when landing
(cr.mp,cr.mk,cr.hp xx light bomb, cr.lk, cr.mp, cr.mk, cr.hp xx teleport)
You’ll combo the bomb while dodging it. Lol. If they block on wakeup you’re boned though. Just for kicks I guess
Maybe if me/someone else delves into it deeper there could be a similar setup with a good mixup at the start to lower the risk?
Edit: did it again to check the damage, I forgot to. Does 4900 on a one v one match. That’s ok I guess…
Edit again: you can also combo into the peacock action super (uh!) for 1 more bar. Also, 400th post.

Also, are the iron ball hits of Tenrai Ha random like they are in DS? Like every now and then you’ll get a weird delayed one as the opponent is waking up?
Neat, but you would need to end it after s.hk because of the IPS… or setup up a reset! Mmmm resets.
Not really a combo video, more like a general gameplan/theory video. This was me playing some online XBL using the team Peacock/Double, and it seemed to do frighteningly well. Using hornet bomb hk for the assist, which hits fullscreen and is invincible for the majority of it’s startup, I was usually able to lock down the opponent and get a Shadow of Impending Doom H out in play, where I was free to cast bomb specials as I pleased. The DHC options are also very good, Catellite lives if it’s blocked for free mix-up/chip and Bionic Caaaar if it connects. I know this is day 1 and I’m sure this strategy can be easily circumvented, but it’s a start

So we all know that Peacock needs an AAA of Napalm Pillar/Nyantiair caliber to operate in all her glory. Is there another type of assist that you’d recommend for her? I don’t think there is anything else that she HAS to have but it’s looking like Hornet Bomb is about as good as I suspected.
Also what would you say would be the best Peacock assist for Parasoul? I wanna say Boxcar Bomber because it’ll hit the crouching opponents that Napalm Shot will not.

In the world of online play, “spammer” is the greatest compliment one can give to a Peacock main.
It means that he zoned you out entirely AND it really pissed you off.
Has anyone tried any of Double’s Hornet Bombers (R. Mika butt slam) as an assist for Peacock? Seems like the invuln startup would make for a great GTFO assist so PC can safely resume her wall of shenanigans should an opponent make it to her, though Napalm Pillar probably has a better vertical hitbox.
I want to use Peacock/Cerebella… best Cerebella assist for Peacock? I’m thinking the Excellebella air grab but I haven’t had a chance to use it much in real matches.
Devil horns anti-air. Excellebella is blockable against jump-ins.
The R.Mika ass slam assist is disturbingly good. I might have to incorporate some [S]abomination[/S] Double into my team since it’s currently only Cerebella and Peacock, I know Parasoul has the GDLK Napalm Piller but I don’t really like charge characters.
I’m on the ass slam as well. So good.
