Alright, as soon as my lazy ass throws clothes on I’m out the door fools!
Simon, you should come out and school me again haha.

Wish I could be there, I hope you guys have a lot of awesome matches tonight and I’m glad Tsunami is doing this.
I look forward to checking out SFIV PC
Fuck Gen.
Hard
Lmfao. Wasn’t me, I was in the other room…
lol, your ryu is gettin pretty sick man i can see that 3s style rushdown. but yeah ggs to everyone, and im actually beginning to recognize that i can throw tech easier on your set up(Jermoie) i find on most tvs its kinda 50/50, but when im at your place it feels much more responsive.
I had a great time! I’ll definitely be back next week.
Thanks for hosting, Jeromie!
Yesterday was awesome, we had a really nice group here and lots of good games. Busted out the 3s as well which I did not play but it was fun to watch the matches anyway.
Glad you like the tightness of the setup Kurt, I think it’s pretty nice to play on too.
Sounds like fun. I’d like to meet up with some fellow Portlanders (even though I’m technically in Vancouver, WA) sometime. I don’t really know anybody that has the passion I do for fighting games…which kinda stinks. lol.
Thanks haha, I definitely need to practice and get my execution to where I can reliably punish or srk FADC ultra type stuff.
There was a couple times when we were fighting where I just realized that there was no way out for me. Jumping anywhere would result in gens anti air kick, fireball would get me jumped in on and punished.
I know the answer lies somewhere in the close up game but Im so bad with my execution that the really quick type jab link shenanigans are probably out of my league right now.
So until then I think I’ll try to avoid the corner haha.
I think I’ll stop by this Saturday if I get my work done.
Ken do you have sessions on Sundays? I have free time during the day, like Noon to 5ish
Incorrect.
Fox, I can’t believe it, you even play Ryu and somehow didn’t know that THE ANSWER LIES IN THE HEART OF BATTLE.
Monkeysarefun13:
Sundays are okay, I just took it off the post because my wife gets home at like 7:30 on Sundays so I can’t go very late. That said, if someone called or came over on Sunday we would play for sure.
Yangsing: That would be great, Bumperfront is coming a little earlier this time he says as well so I see some really good matches happening tomorrow. Chanchai has even said he would like to come over so one day he may randomly appear as well, which would be really cool.
See you guys tomorrow.
i might be able to make it sunday also, we’ll see
Im going to pray it rains tomorrow, because otherwise Im stuck helping my dad paint the house.
Believe me when I say I’d rather be playing sf4 ~_~.
Cool, I am not sure if I can come out this Sunday or not, but next week I should be able to. That would be fun.
Hey Kurt. Could you upload any Seth matches you recorded to your youtube account? PM me the link. Thanks and GGs
I hopefully can make it next week assuming this stupid painting project gets finished.
ugh
sure, my camera filled up faster then i thought it would so i only got about 7(5 useable) matches but i think i did get a couple seth matches so ill send you a PM when its all up.
GGs to everyone, it was nice meeting Hien. i must apologize for my execution though i was failing mk-hands all night for some reason, and few other slip ups. i will definitely practice more before next saturday.
Holy shit what an awesome Saturday session.
Simon came and just smashed everyone in the face with Seth, I don’t think he lost a single match. Rounds were taken but I am pretty sure I never saw him lose. We all just kind of sat around stunned for 7 hours while Simon beasted on us. I tried as hard as I could but Gouken had no answers for Seth, who’s normals even seemed to just stuff everything I did and then proceed into head stomping hate combos.
I came out of this with one thing: don't fight Seth until you know how to rip him in half...
Awesome as usual, and the introduction of a new character was interesting to say the least. Next week is open, I will be practicing against Seth in vs. mode until then.
Thank you to all who came out, especially thanks to Hien for bringing a new face and also a Cammy into the mix, and I will see you monsters next week.
This week’s contenders:
Hien
Bumperfront
Metal Health
Yangsing
We can do this again today (Sunday 10/11/2009) let me know people.
