SF4 on the go!
I can’t believe my video card is below minimum spec yet this laptop can still get a constant 60 fps.

Definition of epic fail
not sure if I can do anything about this or not, but so far everything I have tried hasn’t produced different results.

Mouaha :wgrin:
The game is very playable on my system even at 1900x1200, maxed out with c8x AA. looks so much better than PS3 which I play on the same 24" lcd using component input. I’m tempted to get the PC version just for the graphics.
Here’s a tip… Go into the benchmark’s install folder, copy the .exe file and rename it to DevilMayCry4_DX9.exe then run it again. Some of you will get better results.

Runs fine on my laptop with characters and backgrounds on high, only the World Warrior scene made it a bit slower and at my preferred GGPO screensize.

LOL just for the hell of it, i tried testing the benchmark tool in my Asus 1000HA netbook. A solid, but basic level comp that can in no way handle advanced gaming.

i got the same thing too. i updated my video card drivers, and the benchmark ran fine.
…well, my laptop was running the benchmark at a whopping 4.5 FPS. so, i just closed the program.
it was kinda depressing.
I got an A:
Cranked everything to max, and higher resolution than even my desktop, and the thing still ran like it was on Turbo 2.
I just hope this gets fixed before the release.
ETA: The only thing that brought the framerate average down were the starts of intros, and the 8-WW rotation test.
Tiberius, it’s SUPPOSED to go that fast. It’s a benchmark. The whole point is to see what the MAX POSSIBLE fps you can achieve is. The actual game won’t actually go that fast.
mine is running very well with no AA but crashes and messes up my display as soon as i use any sort of AA (not that this game really needs it)
Q6600
4 GB ram
8800GTS 512
Windows 7 Ultimate RC 7100
Edit: My average fps was 123.7 at 1920x1080 with 16AF and max everything but no AA (any AA and it crashes my PC )
Edit #2: ok WTF it works now with the higher AA settings. Looks like I found the setting i’ll be playing this game on. 63 FPS average at 1920x1080 C16xAA
Runs really well, just like DMC4.
No AA Everything maxed with 16xAF:

My system is well above minimum:
OS: Vista Ultimate
Processor: Intel ® Core™2 Duo CPU T8100 @ 2.1 GHz
Memory (RAM): 3.00 GB
Graphics Card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650
…But for some reason, I can’t this tool to work right. It won’t let me run it in full screen or adjust the resolution. If it try to switch it to full screen, it just crashes.
Running it in a window only gives me a D grade, which isn’t good enough for me.
Any ideas?
Unless he has a beast computer, WINE would be trash for this application, especially if Steam is running behind it.
lol
I tried all that too… updated directx… updated vidcard drivers… still gave me the same message… I consider it a rank Epic Fail… ill try it on my like 6 year old computer tomorrow, the sad thing is, this laptop is like 2 years old and that somethings work on the older computer that dont work on here -_-.
