PC Street Fighter 4 benchmark tool released

I failed and got my PC in 08 :frowning:
Do I need a new video card already?

YES

Integrated graphics are not for gaming. Upgrade to at least a 9600gt and you should be fine.

Unless money is really, really tight, save up a bit more and get something that will last a little longer. I recommend at least a 4850 or its nVidia equivalent.

30FPS :bluu: gotta change PC

holys@#t

^^Well, what about the ppl who do not game on their PC? This would probably be the only game I would buy for my PC. This would actually be the 1st game Ive ever gotten for a PC.

You probably have it on lower power settings. I got the same results when I accidentally had my laptop unplugged, which is set to reduced power. I got much better performanced when plugged in. 18fps to 62fps is a pretty big improvement, haha. That’s on 64-bit Vista, though I get 90+ FPS on my desktop in Win7 64-bit, so I doubt that’s the issue.

Even crazier than that…I just updated my drivers, and I don’t know what it did, but the difference is enormous. Before, I got 62.17 FPS running at 1280x720 with everything maxed and no AA. Now…I just ran 1440x900 with everything maxed, no AA and got 93.08 FPS. I don’t know what just happened, but I’m not complaining. For the record, my specs: Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 @ 2.26 Ghz, 4GB Ram.

Looks like my PC will get the job done 85fps at 1680x1050 everything maxed, one thing was a little wierd detected my 4gb of ram as 3gb other than i’m ordering

If you’re not running a 64bit OS that would explain the 3gb of memory. You need 64bit to get the full 4gb.

Yeah forgot that vista hides that with sp1 jesus how stupid have i got?

Ya it also says my Q6600 is at 2.4 instead of 3.2GHz

That’s because it’s only reporting the official name of your processor.

Hmm well here’s better:

Still tweaking all the settings to find the best one.
I get constant 60fps with aa 2x and vsync on 1680x1050, and without vsync i get a bit more.
Seems like it’ll be perfect ^^

Also lolz @ those who said alienware comps weren’t any good. This one has one year and a half.

Do you have Dual monitors? I get the same fullscreen Issue, just mad pixels all over get some sound but it runs super slow.

Not in fullscreen however i get this with all settings up (except AA is at 2x)

I have dual screen and 8800GT with 182.50 drivers (the latest windowsupdate updated it to) and no problems with fullscreen.

Might be a Windows thing?

Actually when i change it to C8xAA or C16xAA it runs fine… so weird

graphics settings all maximums, no AA

everything in low except for the background (HIGH) xD now it’s more than playable xD we 'll see when it comes out if it’s time to change the gpu or not :wgrin:

so i downloaded both links from the 1st post, but it always give me an error on the installation at the very end, something about the DXSETUP.exe

I already uninstalled the tool, but I ran it and got an avg of 59-61 fps with everything on high except the AA. I think I turned that off.

My specs:
Avg.: 59-61 (everything High, Texture filter default, AA off) | 48-50 (everything High, AA on/max)
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ 2.2 GHz
3GB DDR2-800 RAM
22" widescreen monitor (1680x1050)
nVidia 512MB 9600GT

how many people are running 64-bit OS and 8GB RAM? … looking to install an 64-bit OS for something different
