Was there a shitty update for gfwl? It takes a little bit longer to load up my friends list, messages etc. now. There were little to no load time before.
That looks like its in a window - dont use windowed mode. The game is optimized 4 fullscreen.
I spam enter to skip the logos and intro and title screen, at the same time GFWL signs in and crashes the game. Also happens when i open it too fast to try and send a message.
Online is getting stupider and stupider every day. Ever since i started making my own matches 8/10 matches are people who join your game and end up having like 2-3 second input delay. It shows up as a green bar in game but on the search list it could be a 1 bar or 2 bar…
So essentially my losses have gone up way more due to playing people with less than actual green bars.
it wouldn’t let me take a pic while in fullscreen mode which is why I had to alt+enter just to take the pic.
for some reason when i go into training mode or anything my computer crashes and idc why. i updated my graphic driver and i set all my settings on low…any ideas?
EDIT: ok so it looks like when i get to the characther selection it’ll completely shut off and give me a error message.
That’s what I see since the game came out on PC. The level on PC version is not the same on XBOX360. But since I’ve have noticed a damn lag on xbox360, even if I’m using the same wired connection (optic fiber 100Mpbs, ping 25ms, I live in France) the live on PC is far better. Some match are laggy, but 90% of them are almost the same as offline.
Anyway it seems that the lag online for PC version depends a lot of PC configuration in the game or in hardware. On xbox360, the game is already configured for, so only the connection might be involved IMO :(.
In my case, I stay at 720p, AA “OFF”, Vsync “OFF” , fullscreen and it runs perfectly online and offline (Laptop, ATI Radeon HD 4670, Win 7 Pro 64b, i7 620M and 4Go RAM). I’d prefer playing 90% of perfect versus onlibe without lag on PC than constant lag on XBOX360. And moreover, PC has custom skins far better than originals :D:D:D
Seems like you ain’t able to add those players to your friends-list. Or you are that bad that you don’t dare to fight them again. 
Jadednoobgamer has a deadly Seth. Only played him once in vanilla an luckily beat him. He plays a lot. But there are a lot of other good players, too.
Imho there’s absolutely no difference between all versions when it comes to the average competition. But nobody forces you to play ranked matches or sth. like this. Add better people to your friends-list and ask for a session. It’s that simple if you want competition. 
Yep, clearly you know that I am “that bad” at this game, since we’ve fought online and all. Bagelobo’s Dhalsim is very, very good and I barely managed to beat him…the matchup is just god awful for Dee Jay. Jaded beat me 2-0 because Seth is so gimmicky and because he is just a damn good player. GGs to them none the less, and to everyone I’ve played thus far.
All I’m trying to say is that the competition on the PC version compared to 360 is just not there. I might just stick to 360. The reason I got the PC version is because I have a very good gaming rig and the game just seems to run a lot smoother.
Anyone have connection issue after the patch (steam version)? When I open up ranked and endless lobbies everyone in there have no bars. There’s the occasional 2 bars but, never green. There seems to be more lag during matches as well. Also I can’t connect to the steam store in the game menu, it just takes me back to the main menu screen.
that thing started today. GFWL is messed up, i experience lots of lag and even drop out
its okay. thers the occasionaly bullshit where it shows green bars and then you both have good ratings on you pc but when the match starts everything lags.
I was thinking to buy this but hearing your stories has put me off. Combined with the fact my gfwl is registered as a USA account but I’m in Japan. I’m guessing I can’t switch regions after making the account?

Yea you can, its pretty sweet, plus your flag depends on your system language.
You mean change the setting within Windows to current location? It’s already set to Japan but my GFWL still won’t budge.
I advise not to buy this now that PC hasn’t been mentioned in the new AE balance patch. Surprise surprise. Less than a month since release and its on its way to being obsolete again.
I didn’t see any platforms mentioned. Is there somewhere that specifically mentions 360 and PS3 that I missed?
