Yeah completely normal. It’s Capcom we are talking about here.
Is it just me or are there less and less people to play? If I do it lags like hell. Plus with all the problems with this game, players are leaving. I want my money back.
Well I dont get on last time I got on was last weekend. Its mostly because well the competion doesnt seem very good plus the amount of laggers. I still plan to keep playing on it tho Im just hoping whenever I come back people will have gotten better. I can only hope Capcom will improve this version with the upcoming patch but the pc players who notice the problems have to make themselves heard or else it will probably keep going in the current direction.
Personally Im thru speaking on it, I only make myself look like an ass arguing w/ people about it.
I’m really tired of this behaviour. They’re announcing a patch and we PC users should prey for releasing it on the PC?
Come on, Capcom. You’re really pushing the patience too much.
Actually, regardless of what Ono said, check this out:

Impressive. At Capcom they have to learn to sync their statements.
0 issues for me as long as I’m playing a green bar/A(Which is the majority of the people I’ve seen). Gotta think the people with issues just have shit comps/internet
rofl i remember bitching about ALL of this stuff in vanilla PC. So as soon as AE came out for console, i made the switch and never looked back (still suck bad w/ stick vs keyboard though). Looks like AE for PC didn’t get any better. Shame.
Still better than the console version.
How? The same old timers I used to play with Bagelobo/C2Q/etc are all saying competition isn’t there and it’s laggy. With the exception of possibly better graphics, how is PC better than console?
I just bit the bullet and bought the Steam version. If only for when friend come round who have multiple 360 and PS3 sticks to use on the PC as one.
First impressions. The game looks crisper and better than the console versions. nice to have real 1080 resolution as well.
The game between matches and menu screens loads super fast! Compared to the PS3 version it’s worlds apart. This is great.
No lag whatsoever on the dozen matches I played. Everyone had A ranked machines and full green bars. Not a problem whatsoever.
Online there seems to be a lot of people playing which is good. I noticed the leader boards have a few cheaters at the top though. Secondly, I know the PC version is the last to be released, but even with a scrubby 1000pp or thereabouts you’d manage to get in the top 5000 players easily, whereas on the PS3 version currently a minimum of 2700pp would only get you just below 5000th place., meaning the PC competition is a lot less in quality. No big deal perhaps.
I have a question. How can I set the game to run at 1080p instead of 1080i? My TV and system are both capable of running 1080p games yet the game doesn’t seem to have the option of it.
Ugh I don’t know why but I drop combos left and right online. I could do them so easily in vanilla but here it seems like I’ve been given a retarded pill whenever I play online. Nothing links at all…Jesus
Everything is great but lack of challenge online.
My SSF4 AE is running to fast right now it feel like i’m playing SSF4 AE TURBO even when I’m online.
Lol is this dead on the PC already or what?
I can’t find any matches ranked or endless in the middle of the day and it takes like 5 minutes for someone to join mine.
Haha.
Its packed every night for me, from like 7pm-1am eastern time I got matches straight through play. Usually endless lobby.
and I defragd my HD and that seemed to help with execution a bit.
Where do you live Ellipsen?
Do you have your ports forwarded ? If not that could be why few people can connect to you and you don’t get many search results.
It’s harder to get matches during the late afternoon for me. It’s the evenings that I see more players play.
Eastern time, US.
