Windows 10 OS
Asus STRIX GEForce GTX 970
I5-6500@3.30GHZ
H170-D3H Gigabyte motherboard
8GB DDR4 ram@2400 MHz.
250GB SSD
Will probably upgrade the memory eventually, but the 250 GB already allows me to hold all the game I want to play. This computer is a gaming rig on,y so I won’t be having photos or any of that crap on it. That’s what the laptop toaster is for.
Game runs flawlessly on maxed out settings. I can also run a game like smite at max settings easily if that helps out any.
I have a 760, which performs somewhere between 8-11 percent worse than the 960 and no slowdowns. Only thing I can suggest is tweeting the settings a tad.
I got a Sapphire Radeon R9 270X 2GB GDDR5 DUAL-X and With AA Off i’m getting a constant 60fps regardless of what’s going on.
Can’t remember if you cannot turn off AA or just set it to low but it’s on the lowest possible settings. I’m more focused on getting consistant fps
I turned down the settings still happens. I dont test the fps game runs smooth with everybody is just zangief CA in brazil stage that gives me the slow down. Im gonna return the card just in case but like Ive said my friend has the same card and it happened to him too.
I hope I didn’t read anything wrong, but as I said two weeks ago, I bought myself a GTX 960. ( PC Specs Thread - We’re out of beta now )
Everything runs perfect at maxed settings.
You cannot upgrade graphics cards in laptops. Only top end models such as MSI GT72, Clevo’s etc can support swapping out the MXM cards, which are very expensive. You’ll have to purchase a new laptop. What model do you have?
I have an i7-3930k with a GTX 980 Ti. Playing at 4K with everything maxed out has the game running at around 40-50fps. I just lowered it to 2K resolution and it’s running perfectly fine with no dips. If you want it to run @4k/60fps, then you’ll need to lower settings.
Also how pathetic is it that my laptop has a far superior CPU to the PS4, but without the option for a graphics card it doesn’t matter. Whatever is defaulted in there is no way going to run even last gen games.
It’s not the ram that may be your issue it could be the video card. I’m not to versed on mobile cards but not sure if that one would cut it, especially with only 1 gig of vram.
Like a previous poster said, unless you buy a gaming laptop, odds are your mobile will struggle with this game. Processors aren’t what is going to stop you from running this game but your graphics card will.
Even on low graphics I couldn’t stay at 60 FPS, but I could at least get close enough to play the game and have fun. Medium graphics had similar results. I probably just need to upgrade my graphics card to something with more VRAM. Ideas?
