Turning on Compatability mode in steam did not help me either, and i have 12gb of DDR3 ram. I have played other more demanding games and this has never happened before. Hell i’ll be playing the division tonight and if it runs smoothly i know exactly what’s to blame. It got worse from windows 7 to windows 10 so it’s not just my hardware or anything, it got drastically worse
meanwhile me and my friends play at 60fps max settings on pc 1440p
we don’t know what it is
it could be windows, gfx drivers, steam, cpu, ram
here you are blaming it entirely on Capcom
yet there are a lot of people playing it perfectly fine on both amd and NVidia cards
even with cards well below spec
lol
It just feels like the game isn’t completely optimized yet, and that it won’t be for awhile. Some cards work, some don’t. Some setups work, some don’t.
A lot of games have this issue, heck Skyrim was a mess when it first game out, but I feel in a few months things will smooth out. Drivers will be updated, the game will be patched, etc.
My wish is that Capcom is active and doesn’t forget about this game quickly. They planned to service it for what, like 5 years or something? I hope?
I had windows 7, then reinstalled windows 7, then upgraded to windows 10. when i wen’t from windows 7 to 10 the problem got significantly worse. I cleaned out my cpu and my gpu with compressed air and got everything out of it, updated all the drivers. I just got done playing fallout 4 for about 3 hours and no drops like this what so ever. It’s not my rig. I even played dangerous elite with no problems and bio shock infinite no problems and many more games. There’s a difference from my rig not being able to play the game and the game messing up. If my rig couldnt support the game i wouldnt be able to play at 60fps for about 5 mins perfectly then it drop drastically.
meanwhile you’re ignoring the fact that many more people are having this issue
lol
I’m not ignoring the fact that people are having issues
There are people with the same exact gfx and/or cpu yet one works perfectly fine and one doesn’t
There are multiple factors and many of them when it comes to a PC
How does that equal to automatically being capcoms fault entirely?
While yes I agree that the game isn’t optimized entirely, why are you pointing fingers solely at capcom when there are people who are running the game perfectly fine?
Damn you capcom
My game isn’t working but his is function just fine
This is all your fault!
shit man you could be totally right with the audio driver suggestion.
I can say that my laptop (instead of PC) worked via HDMI just fine, though.
got sick of pissing around with my desktop and picked up a PS4 for my living room, strictly for SFV
some dude on kijiji sold me a mint TES2+ (ps4 shadowloo one) for $200 too!
nvidia driver 362.00 most people other forum recommend completely uninstall the nvidia hd audio drivers but just plugging speaker to the motherboard and restart work for me.
Okay. I upgraded to windows 10, and the game is running FLAWLESSLY. 1080p, 100 resolution scaling, everything on medium. I even tried my old CPU/GPU and it runs perfect. Very stable 60fps, on an i3 4130 stock clock speeds, GTX 960, stock clock speeds, 8gb 1600mhz ddr3 ram.
I’m also running an older version of the nvidia drivers (358.91). I’m not really sure what to think about this. Was it really windows 7 this whole time? Not sure since others are having problems on Windows 10 as well.
The game drops to 36fps with sound over HDMI at least on nvidia cards I don’t know about AMD card. I can visually tell if the frame rate drops, so I use steam fps counter and I was right.
