That graphics card is garbage.
Fair enough. But is it garbage enough that it would cause the game to run in super slo-motion? Or am I likely just suffering from the same problem a bunch of other people here are?
Probably low spec mode on all settings low, super small windowed, and 640x480 if that
Honestly, just don’t
you can get a 750ti for $100 and itll get you running
Yes, it’s not a card suitable for any kind of gaming

That is weird cause, like, Shadow of Mordor and Witcher 3 run fine on it. And I would think those are both way more intensive games than a 1-on-1 fighting game.
But thank you for the advice, I’ll take a look at your suggestion.
You’re not running those games at 60 fps though.
Unreal 4 runs better on 2 gigs of vram.
I’ve never even heard of a 720 ti, like others suggested shop around looking for a 750 or 760. These should be pretty cheap used out there.

That card is pretty bad, but people are running are able to run the game at 720p on similar marginally better hardware but training mode is the only stage that doesn’t lag lol. I’d just upgrade man.
Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 960T @ 3.00 GHZ
RAM: 8GB DDR3 @ 1333 MHZ
GPU: ATI Radeon R7 240 - 2048MB DDR3
Two monitors hooked up - one through HDMI (actually a TV), one through DVI (Main monitor)
OS: Win 10I can run the game in low spec mode @ 60fps no problems. It’s just ugly as heck.
Game slows down to 50fps when fight request is turned on for some reason. Game runs at 60fps when playing online.
Edit:
I wouldn’t recommend running this game on a system with lower specs than this. My system is probably as close to barebones as possible while maintaining 60fps.
Just upgraded my video card to the following:
Sapphire Nitro AMD Radeon R7 370
4GB DDR5
Hello max settings!

OK I fucking figured it out! Had confused myself with all the workarounds…
I now realise the gradual slowdown only happens for me when the .exe is set to compatibility mode! Which also allows the nvidia card to be used without the screen hack.
You can actually see a memory leak occuring in task manager as the memory resource continually climbs. Even though your ram stats still looks like it has plenty to go, it affects the game fast for some reason.Unchecking compatibility mode removes the gradual slowdown, and adding the screen hack again allows me to play on the nvidia GPU but with the 1600 resolution limitation. I can finally play!
Thanks all for the workarounds and input
What monitor hack are you guys talking about? A friend of mine has this exact problem and he can’t fix it. Gradual slow down of frames till it hits 34 and says there.
Okay fellow PC users, riddle me this:
Can I assign a button on my arcade stick to reset the practice mode? I’m not seeing a way to set that shortcut on my stick and it’s driving me batty.

No, not without R3/L3 buttons I think. When they finally let us rebind keyboard keys, maybe they’ll allow this too.
Is my pc really this weak?

I get frame drops in 1366x768 everything low, on low spec mode. Very disappointed.

Lower your resolution to 720p. Your CPU sucks balls.

Getting BSOD if I try to stream sfv in window mode @ 720… wtf 850 PSu too
Can play fine without streaming

Sounds like a software issue and not hardware.

Running on 1080p on the “custom” settings that it automated to at start-up, GPU Fan 2 doesn’t even bother turning haha. Feels well optimized.
Looking to build a mini/micro potato to practice at work with. Anyone pushed the min specs to see how low you can go without issues?
AFAIK the game is locked to 60FPS, so you won’t be able to utilize your 144Hz monitor to it’s maximum performance.

It’s the game not your computer. Wait for a patch or try either the monitor hack or a different os. Either should solve your slowdown issue.
It’s a fighting game, the gameplay is locked to the framerate. Increasing it would affect how the game plays.
