i have the same cpu and amount of ram. You need to get a better gpu. Also since your cpu is a k version why not overclock? it should be as simple as raising the multiplier.
Hmm that sounds like your rig might have malware, virus and other things hogging up resources. I bet you if you upgrade to Windows 10 which is free you should run the game perfectly. Unless you know how to clean out your windows 7. Try to do a clean installation of your nvidia drivers.
Also just a tidbit. Windows 10 overall gaming performance is much better than Windows 7. That’s another reason why you should upgrade.
Your PC is more than enough to run the game at med settings.
I could solve my slowdown problems. The game run at max setting without any slowdown in game. And this is gorgeous!
Don’t know if it can help, but I uninstall all shits from my computer included Nvidia drivers than are not useful like 3D vision etc…
I had many Microsoft Vision ++ shits as well that I deleted.
Anyway I did a full clean up, I uninstalled even steam and all contents related to SFV (including in the temp folders etc).
Cleaning files removed malware cccleaning the system…
I reinstalled steam on my second hard drive (the first one is a SDD with the windows installation).
And it worked! The game have no more shitty slowdown and I can enjoy the game at his full potential.
So not really precise method here, but first I would advice to clean the pc, to have enough free space on the HD and maybe to install the game in another place that previously.
Most people’s hardware problems with this game boils down to the game failing to utilise their dedicated GPU. As a result, the game launches with the GPU that is integrated on the Intel chipset.
I ran virus scans, and malware. and i have more than enough space. for me it’s simply the fact that online mode is effecting my fps… i’ll keep trying i suppose
Don’t upgrade, do a fresh installation. Get 10 but get Enterprise N, then look up how to stop it from gathering all your information and get classic shell.
core i3 4160 and gtx960 2gb
Beta was solid 60 fps, and release version is dropping fps from 60 to 57-55 randomly… On low and on max settings same 3-5 fps drops, capcom should fix this bullshit.
Core2Quad Q6600 at 3ghz, GTX760, 8GB RAM solid 60 fps at 1080p mix of med/high settings.
I5 2500k at 4.5ghz GTX980 32GB RAM solid 60 fps at 1440p max settings.
well they did say the recommended is i5 4690k
you don’t actually have to get the 4690k but the 4160 quite below it
release version most likely utilizes more cpu than the beta version
Intel® Core™ i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz
win 7 64 bit
8gb ram
2GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660
runs like crap even in low spec mode, on training mode not doing anything steam fps counter shows 45fps max. is it my gpu or the capcom being wack?
I doubt I have any malware but I’ll do a malware bytes scan and let that rock then I’ll look up some of the processes I have running. If that doesn’t help I’ll go ahead and do the Windows 10 update. I’ll report later tonight, thanks guys
That’s what i thought but my connection runs perfectly fine, even when playing other online games. I’m even connected via ethernet, my moden is right next to my computer. I even did a full virus and malware scan and defragged just in hopes that it would work. But about 5 minutes into playing my fps drops if i’m in online mode
I just pray they fix this by the first or 3rd. I want to practice for Combo Breaker tourny i’m going to -_-
What is a safe temperature for your GPU? My temp is around 65-78C when playing this game, about twice as hot as it gets when I play any other game. It’s a gtx 760.
