Okay, something weird is going on here. I just upgraded my graphics card to a GTX 960 from a 750 and I still get slight FPS drops. It doesn’t seem to matter whether I have the graphics at the bare minimum or maxed out. My FPS still fluctuates between ~55 and 60. I don’t think the CPU is bottlenecking the GPU too badly because when I looked at the usage percentages with Afterburner, they weren’t anywhere near 90%. What gives?
Since I don’t have a PS4, and trying not to get one for 1 game. What are some good cheap computer setups that you guys are using to play SFV smoothly etc.?
Thankyou! Seems to be working well so far… Side note: in my case having run as admin checked gave errors trying to start the game. Only the compatibility mode needs to be on for dedicated GPU to start for me.
I spent more time at setting/trying to stop the in game slowdown that playing.
I have sometimes constant 60fps during match (at max setting) and suddently (sometimes just pausing the game) it starts the slowdown show.
What is very strange is that even after downgrading a lot ( every setting at middle range), it do the same sudden slowdown.
It felt somehow better after uninstalling some nvidia drivers yesterday but it’s irregular back and forth thing so difficult to say.
Add to that the servers shit make the game not playable for me at the moment.
I miss good old day when I only had to insert super famicom cardridge and could play for hours :’(
Any of you having connectivity problems? It still takes me years to find matches and I can’t join any lobbies (it says they no longer exist) even though people can join mine if I invite them.
What is the best way to go about it so Capcom actually cares? Customer service or something, idk.
I’m having the same issues, if you play in offline mode your golden, but once you hit online mode…god forbid -_-. Just waiting for them to fix the servers i suppose
I’m currently sitting at 230,000 ish fight money. going to do all survival missions on normal and easy till then
You need to be more specific about the “crapping out” Did it display artifacts or did the screen freeze? Or did your pc just crash? It might have been a driver issue. Nothing a good Format C cant fix
Nobody worth their salt spends meter performing needlessly long combos that weren’t optimal damage (unless showing off). And 4 actually has less scaling than SF5, it just doesn’t matter so much in 5 because the combos aren’t anywhere near as extensive.
