I think you are confusing bad hit detection for missing. Everything in this game can miss, and it tends to miss quite a bit for the first 10-15 levels unless you pump stats from the passive tree.
Either that, or you are shooting arrows over top of small baddies (like those little rock throwers). Many times arrows go right over their head unless you click on those enemies.
There will be a server reset on open beta release. It’s just exciting to pick up epic loot even if its for a short while.

Ive been playing this the last few days. Im really having a good time with it. The only complaint I have right now is that my zombie minion seems pretty stupid/glitchy. He wont move when I do, then he’ll just teleport somewhere near me after a bit, or he’ll just head off in the opposite direction im heading. Hope they get that fixed up before the game releases.
this game has better mechanics than d3 but d3 has better encounters atm

Got my Shadow to level 22. I see most people in game say that Shadow should use ranged weapons but I dont care about what they say, I dual wield daggers/swords. I do some pretty good damage plus them traps fuck shit up.
The skill tree is freakin’ overwhelming man, there is just so much shit to pick. Im mostly buffing dex and one handed damage and dual wield damage. I put a little into strength.

Installed game, waited for fucking ever for it to allocate space, and now I’m downloading like 5 gigs of a patch (my isp is gonna love me). 3/4 of the way done that, so I assume I will be playing soon. Can we get some usernames in the FP?

Also I suggest for everyone to use “PoEHelper” (just google it). Its a Chrome extenstion that scans your inventory from the PoE site and will tell you what you have for recipes or what you need. Its the best plugin for the game right now.
Awesome, PoE thread is back alive! I’ve been playing a lot recently trying out new builds to prep for OB which starts on 1/23. Also been doing the HC races attempting at a Demigods but with no luck. I got to level 52 with my standard sweep Templar build on the 1 week race but I didn’t have the time to play as much as I wanted.

Oh, nice. I was about to make a new thread. OP, I think you should change the title to reflect the upcoming open beta. Also, a list of active players in the first post would be useful.
My current IGN is TuTuCachoo (61 split arrow ranger on the default league). I’ll probably try out hardcore when the open beta releases. Just messing around on default for now, learning game mechanics and testing out builds.
Edit: I’m also currently using my cousin’s account for the closed beta. I’ll be making a new one with the release of OB.
