I tried to play Marvel Heroes but that shit is so fucking dumb and retarded, not even my favorite heroes can save that shitty game for me.

Biggest question is why 4mb updates take 30 minutes to install.
I started this game a few days ago. I just made it to act 2 cruel difficulty with a dual claw shadow. It’s been really fun so far even though I died a lot in act 4.
Act 4 deaths are kinda lame. Kill a mob, it explodes. You die. Like… Okay 
You’ll have less of these once you know what’s up. Remember the Stygian Dolls in Act 3 Diablo 2? Same thing.
When you do maps, you may sometimes roll “magic monsters spawn with a Bloodline mod” and this is one of the scariest mods imo. You can kill a group of monsters, and each one will leave a lightning ball on the ground that explodes, and if you kill them close together without paying attention or moving out of the way, that’s a death.
I died quite a few times to stuff like this until I realized what was going on. In other news, my dual-whield Ranger destroys everything I toss at her, though all my maps right now are low ones that barely give any EXP and when I check POE XYZ for upgrades there are none or they’re too expensive. Time to take it easy a bit and hit up my backlog+CS:GO

My hardcore witch made it to the ledge cruel.
Went blindly though act 4, and almost got a heartattack from all the retarded shit there.
Now I’m afraid to go on and probably farm the ledge until I’m level 60 lol.
Logged in for the first time in over a year, I really like a lot of the changes they made. No idea how to build my new character though (scion)
I went with a Scion as well. I went with a Dex/Str build and I’m using two handed Swords and axes. Scion class seems to be the most flexible, but is probably also the most complicated.
I want to make an int build but can’t find a good base to build on. Went up and picked up the 16% ele damage node and that’s it
I’ve found the following uniques: Storm Cloud, Geofri’s Baptism, Twyzel, The Blood Thorn, Bones of Ullr, Bloodboil, Heatshiver.
Looks like Twyzel and Geofri’s Baptism would be decent levelling items.
Should I hold on to any of these or sell them with this recipe?
My first character build this season(dual-whield sword Duelist) didn’t turn out well, so I re-rolled a dual-whield sword Ranger with a completely different skill tree layout and am now melting shit. Highest maps I’ve done so far are 75-76 with no problems, the only times things get scary is if I’m fighting a Magic monster pack with Bloodline/Nemesis mods from the past couple of Hardcore leagues that went by. It’s easy to literally get 2-3 shot if you aren’t paying attention, if you see little orbs of ice/fire/lightning on the ground after killing some enemies, get the fuck out of there or die. B)
You’re on the hardcore league, right?
You should check POE XYZ to see if any of it has value, then use the official POE forums to post --> sell those items. On hardcore some of those items might be worth more than they would be on standard and vice-versa.
Fuck man, PoE has so many minor things wrong with the game… I dunno. Just design choices for the sake of being diablo 2, I guess.
My issue right now is how do you even check your Crit Strike chances for spells that are not involving gems?
I have a shield that gives me 60%+ on crit chance. When equipping it, literally nothing in my stats change at all. Spell description has no change. Character sheet on all pages have no change. Nothing.
Am I suppose to equip it and assume it’s increase my crit chances? Or is there a very specific area that I’m not seeing that’s suppose to tell me exactly what the stats are?
Nah, I’m on standard since I just started the game. I still take a death every now and then in cruel, so I don’t think I’m anywhere near ready to try HC. Then again, I’m running melee…
I vendored the Bloodboil for 5 chance since I saw them for less than 1 chaos on the trading site. I’m gonna hang onto Twyzel and do the same with the rest most likely since none of the others were worth more than 5 chance IIRC.
I’m pretty sure you’d need to calculate it yourself since every spell has its own critical strike chance. There’s a skill tree thing on reddit that lists all of your stats on the side and allows you to add your equips. Make sure you only include crit chance relevant to spells when you do your calculation. If your shield doesn’t say global critical strike chance or spell critical strike chance then it doesn’t help for spells.
I really like the changes they made to this game since I’ve been away. Mostly the ease of obtaining low gems, and the greater diversity of them.

Yeah.
Just go back to the login screen and select a new server. It will show you the ping of every server if you click on it a couple of times.
Take the one with the lowest ping and you’re set.
