The SC patch is but they haven’t said anything about improvements to other things.
early release on patch confirms it is much better, and better then dr. two t1 connections, but distance could still be issue. trying to get more details. go to zaibatsu for more info in the t6 gd area. no you cannot get the early patch, and yes you have to wait like everyone else.

lol. hopefully it just means mr wizard ip bans his ass, and he has no choice but to lurk for a while. do the ip ban here, or just uid? anyways. i thought usmc ogre is in maryland now, and k30 is in nor cal. so the only question right now is will it be a bit different for good closer connections, but either way, he is reporting good stuff now. so we will wait and see. im just looking for at least a fun experience online like marvel, or a good sf4 connection. it aint gotta be perfect. thats impossible anyways.

Yea we can’t actually test an early version of the netcode properly since people live in different places. The netcode has to be public to really test the netcode. Hope the netcode is good though.
due to the fact that i have zero idea what is preventing this game from being on other games levels from what i have read from usmcogre, im not gonna hate. at least its noticeably better. if you can react to snake edge, and kazuya dumb shit, then we’re getting somewhere, and he said he couldnt punish hop kicks consistently with paul, but he could do it. so at the very least it seems way more playable then it was before. maybe decembers patch they will release another vs online fix. lol. i doubt it, unless this was a rush patch, to give us some good quick fixes to online play, and they will still spend more time trying to maximize it as much as they can, because co-op online is still coming. i dont think so with fighting games, but has a company every double patched online for playability issues?
still got marvel and umk3 online for fun. then ssf4 next year. please let ssf4 be good. it would be a waste for me to hate it with all those new buttery ass characters. i mean good gameplay wise, not online so much. maybe ill just force myself to like it this go round. lol.
Yep, sounds a lot like SC4. I guess I’ll play it. I wish it were at least as decent as SF4, but whatever. Mediocre online is better than god-awful online or no online.

^ because the game itself could still fundamentally suck. which i wanna doubt. i mean, if they chose to be ignorant before, fine, but they know where the community is at, and where the forums and threads are where people posted their sf4 gripes. so if they didnt scour through that shit to come up with their best sf to date with ssf4, then i dont know what the fuck is wrong with them. i will still buy it because of the new cast, and returning cast. i cant miss out on a chance to play them under a new umbrella, but if the game sucks, it will just be casual trash i use for online play, and to beat up on some scrub friends.
that slight hate aside. i am looking forward to ssf4 a lot, and i think it could be the best combination of old and new to date, well minus custom combos. i dont think they ever wanna go that route again. im not including cvs2 in the history of sf because its technically a vs game. they been had ssf4 in the bag anyways. i dont find the release of ssf4 some random shit that got pushed because sf4 did so well. yeah right, so in the light of that, i expect a WHOLE lot more from ssf4. they have too much history to go off when it comes to making an excellent fighter to fuck up ssf4. i thought the same thing for sf4, and was horridly wrong. so we’ll see.
Until everyone can combo into Ultra, and FADC gets fixed a bit more, the game isn’t going to improve too much.
I’m still buying it too though. Juri is way too interesting for me to pass up.
