Patch coming for the lag

LOL.

You’re so new it’s funny.

It’s only for online, not training mode (according to Markman).

WTF are you people on. SDT has always been legit. Markman said a patch was coming days before Namco officially announced it would be. Now Markman and Wiz said it’s coming on Thanksgiving, so expect it around then or before December rolls around.

what an odd post.

i’m responding to the claims made by certain people who seem to know when patches are coming out.

nothing else.

so the person works for namco then? i asked this before.

it’s not a difficult question: what is the source for this information about the patch coming out.

That’s all.

i dont think you understand how important it is not to leak specific details about shit. we should be thankful that wiz, markman, and sd tekken is at least giving us a decent time frame of when to expect it.

official date and features for the online patch not the co op

how do you know they are?

Just like it came out last week?

Markman works with Madcatz, and he was pretty much Namco’s PR man during T6’s pre-release hype train. The other guys that work at Namco are also old-school TekkenZaibatsu members (the forum that Castel owns, which Markman helps run). WCMaxi, who also works with Namco (US and Japan), is also one of TZ’s senior admins.

Markman is basically the community’s direct link to Namco.

there, that wasn’t so painful was it.

Source?

dude stop being annoying, this thread has gotten so derailed because you cant just leave it alone.

you are a fucking moron.

It’s always painful dealing with idiots.

Bet that negative rep of his is pretty painful. :wonder:

For fucks sake, Wishface…

NAMCO BANDAI Games today released further details about the forthcoming free downloadable update designed to improve the online game experience for players of TEKKEN 6 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The update is scheduled for release on 26th November. The update is separate from the online co-op Scenario Campaign mode download which is scheduled for release separately this winter.

Online gameplay enhancements in the update include the following:

o Improved input response: improvement of the games responsiveness to button / command inputs;

o Selectable search priorities for ranked matches: players will be able to set search priorities for opponents in ranked matches based on comparable rank or connection quality as well as location;

o Optimized data transmission between fighters and spectators: fight data will be optimized in order to reduce the bandwidth load on the hosts console;

o Signal strength bars: the signal strength bar will reflect connection quality more accurately;

o Chance to cancel match: players will be able to cancel the match before it begins once the opponents signal strength has been displayed on ranked matches.

The team at NAMCO BANDAI Games Inc is committed to delivering the best possible experience with TEKKEN 6 and would like to thank the thousands of fans all over the world for their invaluable feedback. Let the sixth King of Iron Fist Tournament continue.

I really hope this delivers, it sounds alot better but I still think it needs an option to disable voicechat.

The input response better be much improved. i.e no input delay, this is really important for tekken to stop scrubs abusing lag tactics

Finally they give us a release date, I’m glad its on Thanksgiving, that way we can play Tekken all day getting our revenge on them spammy scrubs!!!

So far I’m liking the improvement info a lot.

Let’s hope that plenty of connections are playable, and this isn’t just putting a splash of paint on a lemon… I have low confidence, but would be so glad to be wrong. At the options are good and what was needed.

Voicechat can already be disabled- seriously, it’s an option.

Amen brother…
