I have “gift” before I leave. I’ll have Susan post it on facebook this week. Not sure how they will work but we have some fun gates for the JLF, could open up a new line of customs…
Sorry. I forgot to quote him but I was answering @Fearless after he asked when the Kaimana was releasing. Your post was on the next page and I didn’t see it.
I have a lot written down about the LS-series joysticks and the text I’ve done has been saved on the ParadiseShop wiki page.
I’ll go ahead and tackle this one completely… Basic text is done and I’ll get some pics to go along with it over the weekend.
Not expecting to get much done on Friday… I have a new job orientation starting in the morning and I don’t know how I’m getting out of that as of yet (wrecked or mentally “together” and “with it”). I suspect I’m going to get bored and be a bit out of Column A, b, and C.
I am going to work and try to get to the Balltops to the same writing level as the LS-joystick article. It’s always the simple stuff that’s harder for me – why, I can’t tell you. It’s always been that way with me. I suspect it’s going to be a mix of pictures of what I have in my little balltop collection and the Paradise Arcade Shop item descrips that ends up in the article. I already suspect it’s going to be a few hours’ marathon on Saturday/Sunday to get this thing done… but it’s definitely doable before outside work gets craZy!
Hey wait its 3 of you that got it early??? Damn you Armi (LOL j/k). congrats to the lucky few that are able to test it out for the rest of us. Post lots and lots of pics and vids ha ha ha. Hope you all have a lot of fun with the board.
Im good Armi, hell I’ve waited this long 20 more days is nothing lol. Besides I want these guys to work out all the kinks before I get it ha ha ha. Again good luck fellas with the board. @deBoru have started the wiki yet?
Quick pic during setup. We were given the choice of screw terminals or pin headers for the PCB.
In retrospect I should have gotten 2 sets of screw terminals.
On the other hand this PCB is small! All thats left is to solder the connections from my Mad Catz PCB then daisy chain grounds. http://i.imgur.com/2QUSov8.jpg
Also, if anyone that has received their units could take some notes on the stick installation process and pass those on to me for the Wiki, I’d be forever grateful.
I probably won’t be doing an install into a stick immediately. Rather I’ll be setting up a breadboard for the buttons and PS360+ because code testing and configuration will be easier for me that way.
So any info you have for me on a stick install in the upcoming week or so, would be put to good use.
not sure why im having issues so, it’s not working for me atm, ill get to it tomorrow. for now though as is, the passthrough works without any hitches. anyways, here’s how I set up mine inside a TE case, spliced the wires from the TE’s distro strip, to the kaimana then the buttons… there’s enough room in the right side crevice there for the kaimana board, perfect place imo.
