Paradise Arcade Shop, LED Joysticks, Buttons, Mods and more

Those are running off the PCB, but here’s a clearer pic.

Yes they are all the same color at that instant, but you can control each led separately

looks like I can set up a house for Christmas with those.

These would work great!

holy shit, ‘chained’ connection? no more individual points… finally clean wiring :o

quit teasin’ us man and release dat shit  haha

So dope. Idk why it has never been this simple before. Chained connections seem like a no brainer.

Clean wiring is just one small bit of the amazing that you will see from this board!

With the new Kaimana board you could technically (you may have to finagle with the header) connect it to any digital (addressable) RGB LED strip and make it into a light show ;D

@iNENDOi

It’s because nobody thought to bring an arduino to the playing field!

Ahhh. I see your point.

Making me even more motivated to figure out a LED TE bezel.

I think we are all going to have some fun

my shipment just arrived. gotta go pick it up tomorrow… got caught by toll so not so much fun.

was shipped 31st august and came now, it took a while but i guess its worth it. might want to look into projected shipping time, this might have taken a lot longer becuase of the tolling of it, but i don’t know

excited

e/ was shipped to sweden

Thats the tricky part of overseas shipping. Especially with tolls or customs can delay shipping no matter how much you pay for express shipping.
Its something no one have control over

yeah, it came out another way than i expected. did say 2-4 days and my tracking ID got lost becuase of a refund on the shipping. but in the end, it all worked out fine

I got stung by customs really bad (300 SEK) when I ordered from Paradise Arcade as well. I’m also in Sweden. I don’t see why though, as none of the things I bought can be got in Sweden. :frowning:

Ok, I’m assuming that the USB cable is for configuration options via pc… right?

And we are going to need just the Vcc and Ground wires to power on the Kaimana.

Speaking of power… I see you wired-up 16 LEDs in that pic… but how many volts can the Kaimana handle by itself?

little over 2 weeks shipping time international isn’t too bad. shame about customs messing stuff up, I’ve heard the royal mail customs for the UK are a bunch of thieves, lol.

Here in Mexico we are in the same situation… a lot of packages are reported as “lost” by the customs employees… what a shame…

Sorry guys, lots to cover and not a lot of time to cover it!
@Dej , sorry it was slow, there is not much we can do about customs but if you ask Susan really nicely she sometimes can make everyone happy. It probably billed originally for express, but shipped priority which is slower. ( @emphatic ask Susan next time, explain what happened…)

Fearless, Brazil I think is the worst.

Now answers:
Ok, I’m assuming that the USB cable is for configuration options via pc… right?
Yes it’s a USB arduino connection, plug and play

And we are going to need just the Vcc and Ground wires to power on the Kaimana.
Yes, and if you lay this next to a PS360 they are in the same order so you can just use your existing boards. However, LED power is not natively connected to the board power, so you can jump from the VCC connector, or you can connect a separate power source which leads to the next question

Speaking of power… I see you wired-up 16 LEDs in that pic… but how many volts can the Kaimana handle by itself?
Volts is not the issue, amps are. Because the USB power is not connected to the LEDs in the board, you can add A LOT of power. What you saw was 15 pixels running off a USB bus (The USB jumped to LED power) However you can easily run 50-100 LEDS with added power (USB can not run 100 LEDs) The nice thing about the Kaimana is that the power and data streams are separate. So you aren’t limited to using the USB for power. If you want to go crazy you can add a power supply to your stick, and plug it into the wall for the ultimate in bling.

@Armi0024 The Kaimana is looking pretty sweet man. Question I see you have new LED’s but will they work with IL/Happ buttons or will the Pele’s be the better option? Im glad I did not buy the harnesses last weekend because the cables on the pic look different than the one’s I was going to purchase. I’ll just wait to by everything once the board comes out and I know for sure which LED and cables to buy. 10/15 is not coming fast enough.

picked it up, awesome. i still dont understand how susan fit it all in that small package, lol

also, thanks a lot for the treat, it was delicious.

i know who i’ll order from next time

@dej its like the Tetris of packing

@wigsplitter the new il lights will work through the adapter board. And we will have the parts or you can order assembled for plug and play.

Thanks for the support, we are very excited

Wow that’s good to hear man. I guess that would be cheaper than getting 8 new LED’s and I do have the space in my case so that will not be an issue. I just like the clean look of the chained connection LOL. Thanks for the options man. The adapter will be ready for 10/15 also correct? Cant wait for the wiki on the LED board as well.

Keep up the good work.
