@Dej – Email Susan about shipping, we have had some serious issues with international orders. She will usually work good deals for forum members.
@graymalkin – can we quote you on FB lol, I agree, we’ve tried to price a lot of these options to encourage people to play! The springs have been so popular some of the overseas suppliers have ordered from us to supply other vendors lol.
@playdoh003 – we are with you, it really is about details sometimes, and hibachi seems to have this nailed down.
So I got a PM tonight… we should have stiffer LS-56 springs… Confused I went to Susan and said, “Hey did we post the LS-56 springs on the site?” Evidently we’ve sitting here for a few months with a few 100 ls-56 springs sitting on the shelf. Add another new product to the list!
Standard LS-56 springs are 2lb at actuation compression. We will be adding 3lb,4lb, and 5lb LS56 springs to the store soon!
Another quick question about the Kaimana: Will there be screw terminals or some other mode of quickly configuring wires? While I know how to solder, I prefer to use harnesses or screw terminals because I like to change the wires often (because I braid them). If not I’ll probably just solder on my own screw terminals anyway.
You know… I ignored the bat top comments… We’ve been working on this for 3 years. I would love to say we are closer, but this is tough problem. Molding is expensive! We will continue to look for a solution.
I figured it had to be some complications because you would have had this on your site by now LOL. Alone with the molding, getting it to light up properly around the whole bat would be a pain I guess. The more I think about it, the more I understand why its taking so long. Its not like a ball top that just sits on top. Anyway keep up the good work man. I know if any can get it done it will be you.
actually lighting it would be no different than a balltop, just drill into it and place the led on top of the adapter(instead of the shaft). I am quite sure that the problem is with the cost of molding. I wish I was able to make my own (somewhat) clear bat top like @purplearms did. I just couldnt understand what he did entirely.
I do not but there was a thread on it. type in led bat top in the search.
I cant link the thread while on my phone.
Maybe you will be able to do what he did and have yourself a nice bat top. I just didnt really inderstand it myself.
It would actually be really cool (at least in my head) if a LED battop had the LEDs cast in the top itself. I’m sure this would produce interesting results.
Insert molding LEDs might be tough, but we are looking for a bat top solution. We have a few options we are currently evaluating and have been testing various non molded solutions for a while.
On another note even though its her birthday, Susan is hard at work packing, and solo because our packers’s mother passed away. If you get a chance send Susan a happy birthday! Susan@paradisearcadeshop.com
Are there still issues with inventory? I am trying to add 2 PS-14-G’s in magenta and the site says that they are in stock but there is no option to add to cart. Also, are there any plans for you guys to carry the Seimitsu MS Mounting Plates by themselves?
She puts with all the kiddies (including me) asking for toys!
Mmm… I think the macadamia nuts may be the best part of the orders…
btw, is she tired of all this arcade stuff or does she actually “imbibe” in arcade games herself occasionally?
P.S. – Have you heard of “Donkey Kong Pauline Edition” yet?
And people thought the only girl power was in Tomb Raider and all the fighting games including Dead or Alive where the fighting was NEVER the point…! (Well, that one, yeah, but not necessarily the other… but… what was I talking about?)
