Right Iām aware of that, thatās why I ask Armi. He would be the best person to get a manufacture to produce one. Its obvious he has ties with the right people, its just a matter of interest I would think.
Iād add a selection of PAās fab springs and actuators, too, since theyāre fun to experiment with (0.5mm actuator and 2lb JLF spring is what I settled on), and also get six thin silencer pads, 'cause theyāre brill and cost buttons.
Canāt wait to see the finished stick too, @hibachifinal - the way that the colors on the Seimitsus āpopā when you install X-Busters is awesome. I know that the violets on my SCV stick look WAAAY better with them installed than with the standard white plungers. It looks like the little details that I commented on when you posted the art are gonna stand out even more now that itās printed. :tup:
The thread blew up today! Sorry guys long day at work Iāll answer questions very soon!
Quick comments: Kaimana is going to be around 30. We are still waiting for harnesses! I insisted on ribbon cable, evidently this was a bit complicated.
I canāt say how glad I am that we did the X-busters. We actually had a quote from Seimitsu themselves on doing these, but they were not clear (they actually ran and shipped 8 of them to me, but they wanted us to buy 10,000 in buttons!)
We are releasing a line of gates, including circle restrictors, specifically for the LS-56. We will also be doing 32ās and 40ās. The LS-56 in particular will have multiple sizes available to take advantage of its very short throw actuation.
Itās going to be a weird Christmas this yearā¦
Assuming weāre all talking to each other again, Iām probably going to ask family members for balltopsā¦
Cheap gifts, and they will be used or kept in a āmini-museumā until ready to be used. ( = tackle box after I buy oneā¦)
<Theyāre not gonna believe this!>
I still have it as a goal to get a Zippyy + Silent Kit and have a go at it to see how it is⦠At the very least, Iād be getting an LS-32 equivalent for less than half-cost unless thereās a suggestion for microswitch upgrades/alternatives if I would decide not to pursue the silent mod further.
Iāve just gotten too curious to see what the fuss about silent parts is NOT to look into it. Iām just not going the JLF route and would rather buy the pads from you guys at Paradise Shop since I have a mix of Seimitsu and Sanwa buttons. Iāve gotta admit Iāve gotten less crazy about some of Sanwaās practices lately and am glad that alternatives to those guys exist.
I hate monopolies⦠They havenāt exactly worked out well in my area where Cable TV is concerned. I dropped it last year because not only was I disgusted by content by the price I was paying for %@$%@! wasnāt worth it.
