Twist goes up today!
Looks like Iāll be placing another order today. Been wanting to buy some of those actuators but I was waiting on the twist.
Eventually there will be a bottom for each stick with a universal shaft above from what I gather. So at some point the LS-32 will be on the horizon.
Sold on the new actuators, quite literally. Ace.
Is the twist really out of stock already.
Susan probably posted 5 in stock so she could have place holder to count them.
We have the ls32 done but I didnāt like the way they turned out. I think the mill was not referenced properly when the parts were run so the tabs are off. We will be doing other joysticks and all twist shafts will be interchangeable
Hey Armi, I see that you have plans to bring more Seimitsu buttons⦠right?
If so, thank God you heard our prayers!!!
And just a question⦠how hard would it be to make a button cap for Seimitus in purple/violet?
Its a shame that Seimitsu was the first one to offer purple translucents but there is no purple cap for solid color buttonsā¦
Seimitsu love!
There can be nothing but good from this!
Now, if I only didnāt have to thin out JLF-CD shaft covers to protect my LS-32ās (and hopefully soon to be bought Zippyyās for silent mods) from corrosion.
I wonder if I can thin out the JLF aluminum shaft covers in the mean time? I think I have metal files⦠(The problem is that I use them on everything!)
Fearless, check out the Seimitsu button section on the site, Susan has had 300 buttons sitting on the shelf for two months lol, someone want free room to come take pictures and post lol.

George, just buy hollow shafts, they are stainless, or⦠Hmmm next twist for ls32 will accept jlf tops, but again, they are stainless!
Yea they are in stock now, I was seriously tripping about thinking I missed getting one.
Just my bug ball in the mail and those pushbutton pads work like a charm. Also did you say the aluminum actuators are being manufactured.
How thick are the aluminum shafts? Theyāre as thick/built to the spec of the JLF-CD shaft covers, right?
Hmm⦠I DO have METAL files after all!
Iāll get a hollow shaft if I ever decide to do an LED joystick⦠That will probably be whenever somebody actually makes it EASY to assemble and program LED lighting. I think LED set-ups are more difficult than dual mods at this point in time⦠Theyāre definitely more expensive than most market PCBās. Right now, Iād just as soon finish off and outfit all the joysticks I have sitting in boxes now!
Random question but are there any hollow shafts for an LS-56?
@georgec the new controller and LEDs are pretty cool, I think they will surprise you as to how easy they are.
@Pnoy Pryde not yet, that shaft is small!!! We have thought about doing this but would need to use something other than the E-clip to pull it off.
With an arduino, LEDs can be as simple as an ON/OFF during any input instance. If this board is as good as it sounds we might be able to throw 50 LEDs into a case and make words scroll underneath the acrylic or some shit! Iām actually sitting here with my programming notebook trying to make exactly that happen (Iām also trying to see if I canāt create a drip effect to make it look like itās raining on the depth axis of the inside of the stick but that is proving a little difficult in the confined space)⦠I would like one of these new boards to test it on, though, hint hint.
here is the kind of thing that is possible with and arduino:
Those are both pretty extreme and need a bit more complicated tools, but you get the idea. I want dancing women made of light in my stick! (and if itās a fully functioning arduino I can have it! although maybe not in 3D that might not fit)
You have 32k to pull it off, with direct USB connectivity. Dancing in 3d might be extreme but this is what is possible. Part of the power is the board, but the real stength of the system are the indexable LEDs.
Hey Armi will your LED firmware support a sparky? I will still buy your board, but if I can get some good use out of the sparky I may keep it and put in one of my other sticks. Also will your LED board support RGB?
thanks
@wigsplitter, all Rgb but not backwards compatible with the sparky. Very different style, much more expandable
Thanks man⦠well keep us posted on when theyāre ready. I know Im grabbing one for sure and most likely getting two more later.
How much is shipping to Canada if I only want to buy the twist?
