The shaft cover or the shaft?
Sorry, I meant to type shaft cover but for some reason I didnāt. Iāve been drinking an excessive amount of booze today and apparently a very MANLY fondue party broke out with a bunch of people here while doing it. Yup, manly. I swear. So thatās my excuse.
Iāve put the plastic Sanwa back on my LS-56 and it works fine now and Iāll just wait for the Crown 303-FK to see how it works. If I donāt like it I might try a Hayabusa since you and iNendoi seem to be fans of them and if they work similar to how an LS-56 functions then I am all for that.
@Amerika your credibility is seriously at issue with a āmanly fondue partyāā¦
I am out of town and can not test out the LS-56 until Wed (Susan is home shipping orders) I can see how the original shaft cover may cause a problem, an alternative to using the dremel is simply to put the adapter nut in the top, put a drop of thread long on the shaft, and screw down until you have it where you like it and let the thread lock set there. I am looking at some ideas that would address peoples desire to make small height mods and these ideas may work with the LS-56, I will check it out.
@moonchilde⦠time to start doing some customs for the new stick
@darksakul , that Simpsons episode is one of the funniest, thanks for the laugh!
On another note, Hori doesnāt ship to Hawaii⦠So I will be in LA tomorrow, and asked, can I just pick it up, um no.
Finally we came to the solution of shipping to my hotel, hopefully it goes out today and arrives tomorrow!
@Inendoi thanks! Interview with Dallas group went well today!
Awesome! Good luck with the hunt.
I order on the 27th of January. There were problems with filling out my order so it did not ship out till the 8th of February and now my package is lost somewhere. Who do I have to contact to find my package or to get my money back. The package was insured so there should be someone I should be able to talk to. Does anybody know who I can contact? I went down to my local post office and they said they would look into it but I have not heard anything back.
Call Susan, ph # is listed on the website.
Thanks Moonā¦
Hmmm, I think we are going to wake this thread and the board up a bit this weekendā¦
I have one stick to finish and ship and then itās laser time. Now that weāve got some of the restrictor plates done weāll be doing some more and working on some stick plexiās.
I also really want to thank Jasen for the collaborative projects weāll be working on. Itās always great to work with people who know the products they are selling.
On another note⦠look for some fun stuff with the Hayabusa to come! I think we might have a surprise for some people!
Hey Bryan - Any updates on those adjustable actuators??
Waiting for our friendly UPS man to bring them. The new years celebrations really stuck it to usā¦
Just a quick question are the levered zippy switches able to fit on a JLF or are the levers too long?
They are way too long for a JLF. However it is fairly simple to cut them to size. Iāve done this in the past by just measuring the amount needed to cut the levers and just dremeled away.
What is your recommended amount to cut off?
When you look at the levers you will see some ātick marksā (i guess) and you can use them as your guide. I had mine cut such that from the end of the lever to the end of the bent hinge was ~5/8" . But when you cut go a bit larger since you can shave off pieces of the lever bit by bit to get it to the exact amount. When you do cut the levers take the time to test them since if they are a bit long but donāt seem like it, the levers may bet stuck on each other.
I was going to mention this. Theyāre already notched out for cutting
Please @armi0024 and @susaninparadise check what happened with USPS, im really tired of waiting for my order since january 2nd.
Thanks
Im in the same boat. I have been waiting for 2 weeks and my package seems in limbo. My suggestion to you is to call your local USPS consumer affairs office and get them to start an investigation concerning your package. I believe the USPS declares packages that have not had a scan in the past 21 days as lost. At that point the seller can claim the insurance and then its up to you and the seller to decide how to move forward.
