It’s a friendly match, so he only did it for the lulz. XD
It looked a lot laggier when we were playing:P
And yeah that super was as yolo as I get
Neutral jump anti air and the first Guile pandora finish I have ever seen:

Nothing special, just to share! ^^
Hah, cool dude. I’ll put that in tomorrow’s Daily Blast. Y’know it’s funny, now that Pandora has changed and we’ve done so much tech in so little time, at this point it’s no longer about tech and more about how to implement Pandora to win. Obviously we’ve had so many examples of where Pandora can get the kill, and the tech videos have helped give people ideas of who can do what. So it’s like pandora ‘tech’ itself is more rare now since we pretty much know everything about 2013 Pandora. It’s cool though, cause it allows me to focus on getting Pandora wins =]
I have to disagree now, at least with the “we pretty much know everything about 2013 Pandora” part. There are still so many things to be discovered here, and I think we are really really far from it YET. As I’ve mentioned before, I’ve found several different uses that no one mentioned yet (if they knew, at least they didn’t show it to us yet). The main obstacle for me now, is my Internet connection, which is still messed up, so it’s hard to find too many opportunities to even fight other people, let alone try those different Pandoras which I’ve tested on training. In my city there are almost no one playing this game, so offline is also an obstacle here.
For example, one of my coolest Pandora wins was this week, when Xiaoyu sent back a projectile and the opponent immediately jumped forward, getting hit by his own projectile, so I did a Pandora and ended with Ryu’s Super while he was still in the air. My opponent even did a “ragequit to hatemail super combo” afterwards. Due to the ragequit in the middle of the match, I don’t have the replay, but I’m sure more opportunities to do it again will follow.
So I highly encourage the Pandora fellows to keep testing it, I’m sure the “Pandora Defense Force” will find many other stuffs that most people will not.
Well I didn’t mean to say that there’s nothing to discover of course, and various applications of existing Pandora tech can be used in new situations. What I meant was more along the lines of how we’ve covered all the basics and even advanced ways of using it and compared to vanilla Pandora it’s not only easier to pull off but SO many people have been using it. Whereas it took literally months to make advancements in vanilla Pandora tech, it’s taken a much shorter time to do even more than that with 2013 Pandora. I dunno if there’s some magical and profound way of Pandora which we still don’t know, and I doubt there is aside from how we already use it, but i think that we just need to focus on where to apply it for now. We can get creative like with the scenario you’ve mentioned but at the moment I’m just glad that I no longer need to make like 10 tech videos just to get people to start using it, haha.
I think it’s a good time to talk about the pandora options we have found till now.
Possible ways to use pandora currently:
Those situations pretty much guarantee you damage.
**Specials/normals that cause ground/wall bounce: **
eg Ryu Ex Joudan, Jin Ex median line destruction, Yoshimitsu j. Hk, Juri j. Hp etc.
**
Specials that launch the opponent high in the air: **
eg Lars Ex lightning screw or Ex rising storm
Long hit stun:
eg after a heavy jump in, Jin counterhit swaying willow
Jump cancel normal:
eg Chun, Cammy
Anti air purpose:
Viable, when you have a character with a solid anti air speciapel/super in the back. Characters like Law, Yoshimitsu and Kuma for example are pretty good since you can follow up with a high damage combo.
Punishing:
Pretty much everything that’s clearly punishable. I heard there is 4 frame recovery after using pandora, but it’s not confirmed yet.
eg Raw tag, missed launchers, supers, cross arts.
Punishing fireballs (Chun, Bryan super etc)
Character specific: Pandora into raging demon, SPD)
Switch cancel punish
eg after an uppercut tag cancel
Riskier pandora usage:
Good reads and gambles:
Opponent attempts to chip you out with an uppercut.
If you are quick to realize that an air to air or anti air got you a counterhit you can pandora too.
Random pandora: You have no meter to lose and you are unsure whether you can KO your opponent with pandora? Use it! As long as you have no meter to use it’s completely fine to use pandora.
I also find myself using pandora to chip the opponent out.
That’s everything I could think of atm. I’m going to format this later.
I’ve been compiling a list that is kind of similar to the one above here. The difference is that I want to include whether the health of char 1 or 2 is at 25%. Example:
Char 1, health above 25%; Char 2, health 25% (no bars)
combo -> launcher -> combo-> special with float properties -> Pandora.
Example: Cammy lpmphp launcher-> Nina cr. HP x geyser cannon -> Pandora -> Cammy super art.
It helps to determine if Pandora is an option. I already know that Cammy really doesn’t have a realistic option to Pandora with no bars. Nina on the other hand does have good options without bars. I have a list on paper but it’s a pain to put that into a readable format.
Nice one for making a list guys. Luckily there’s already videos showing this off, I think the Pandora playlist covers pretty much everything. It’s why i made it so people can stop saying ‘but my characters can’t use it AT ALL, wah wah waaah’
Every character in the game has a pandora set up move (some even have multiple), some require meter though
I can hit cr. Mk into super from Akuma’s cross up tatsu

I can hit cr. Mk into super from Akuma’s cross up tatsu
I always just sweep
I swear I play SF4 Akuma in SFxT and have more success with him than my other mains LOL
I always try to get that far hk swag combo haha. But hard knockdowns are not as weak as people may say.
woops wrong post
Don’t forget that Bob can cancel his normals into pandora. Would be sweat if some other chars got atleast 1 normal they could cancel from.
Recorded a Pandora from Empy a while back, don’t think it’s been shared yet? Anyway, I’m finally back on the uploading train, life kinda’ forced me to scale back for a bit for a while…

Whoa, that was all kinds of interesting. I had a feeling it’d hit Blanka and it did, but good job to him for finishing it anyway.
You guys said there was another person making a Pandora tutorial video sometime ago. Since none has been shown yet, I’ve decided to start one. If in the meantime someone make one before me, no problem, there’s no need to have only one anyway. Do you guys think Training Mode examples takes some credibility away? So far, I’ve only included Pandora from actual fights, but I’ve been thinking about including examples from Training Mode as well.
@Rc: Include Switch Cancel punish in your list. Most of them are easily punishable (the char leaving, the one coming in or even both sometimes). Non true blockstrings and “Cross Assaults > Supers” are pretty much punishable as well. Of course, the opponent’s HP is also pretty important to determine if you should Pandora punish or not.
Another video with a twist at the end… if you want to call it that way.
