The reality of the situation is it happened. That is the only reality of the situation.
Everything else you or I put forward as what COULD have been done or may have been possible is not the reality of the situation.
The whole point of this thread was to get information out there that this happened and to try and see if someone might have info on it. It wasn’t the point to come up with imaginary situations he could have taken or may not have been able to take.
Sucks. but everyone at this point should know not to leave jack shit around the FGC people. The community is full of human filth that steals from eachother constantly then cries about how the community isnt getting respect from the real communities.
I’ve left thousands of dollars of music equipment in a car before. We’re talking about Gibsons, Orange amps, a few of those fancy coated cymbals, etc. It was fine. Hood kids have no idea how much music equipment is worth unless it’s a turntable.
Ooh so giving advice on how to minimize the chances of this happening to him again isnt worth posting?you
Gotcha.
Hey OP keep putting your expensive stuff in your car, And then leaving it unattended its cool man, Eternal says its fine. I mean what are the chances you’ll be robbed again right? Don’t look at how this can be prevented in the future, its all chill.
I actually AM the OP. I posted this to get info out there this happened. The thread is specifically said “if you know anything, please report it to them” not “Hey if you got an idea that he probably already has been told a dozen times since then and probably thought of the fucking MINUTE it happened. Please go tweet him and make him feel like a fucktard instead of actually doing something useful”
The guy who this happened to isn’t even fucking in here. So why are you telling me anyways? Tell HIM. I don’t stream shit for the community for free.
Because you can’t use any of that for a shitty rap mix tape. If it’s not some free shitty beat creator thing then its not of any use to the aspiring rapper.
Yep. Limited Edition Gibson Les Paul I got for graduating college. Worth over a grand but fenced can still pull in a few hundred. But hood kids are dumb as fuck and think all guitars cost $50 or some shit.
Were the windows tinted on either MarkMan or Panda’s vehicle? If so, then whoever did it was most likely following them after they saw them load up and didn’t happen to be any random thief who saw the equipment walking by the car. I think MarkMan wasn’t even parked directly near the venue when he got robbed, so it could’ve just been a random person breaking in.
It would be interesting if someone was willing to like stakeout in a another car for a couple of hours to see if they could catch anyone who breaks into one of these loaded vehicles again, but since you can’t predict that behavior, it would more than likely be a waste of time.
I wonder if any of the stuff that got stolen is trackable. Now that it’s happened twice on this scale at an FGC event, perhaps they could invest in that sort of thing as kind of a backup plan if it ever happens again.
Because I dont have Twitter and I don’t care that much. I’m not in Houston so I dunno anything about his car being broken into.
Don’t get mad because I partook in the conversation all ready going on.
With that said, you should try posting this in the Houston/Texas regional matchmaking section, your more likely to get responses from people who where actually there.
Hood kids also have no idea how much comics are worth. When i lived in a ba part of town my place got broken into took my tv priter ps3 and te…left the thousands worth of comics i had hanging up alone LOL
At my job when we go to trade shows or conventions we always either lock things up in a trailer or we have someone stay behind and watch our stuff. We were in Atlantic city and one morning we came back to the hotel parking lot to see that someone had tried breaking the lock on our trailer while attempting to unhitch it from the truck. We had just went and bought the lock prior to the trip so it was for sure worth it. If people know you openly have expensive shit then you can’t be taking any risks.
Of course this robbery and the one that happened to Markman are community related, how else would they have known to go after that tekken 7 key from Markman?
